Intended to be used as a guide for Power Matrix. Specific
location codes and application guidelines can be found in the
planning guide and pricelist for each individual product line.

Nucraft offers a free, online product configuration and specification service that saves
you time and allows you to be creative while leaving the nuts and bolts to someone else.
• No special software is required, nor is there any learning curve.
• The service applies to all Nucraft products including private office products, conference room
products, reception stations, and training tables.
• You can generate quick and accurate answers for budget estimates and/or quick and exact
specifications for final quotes.
• Revisions can be made any time you like, and total accuracy is guaranteed.
How it works.
Called iSpec, this service is as close as your phone and your Internet-connected computer. You
can use it anytime you need to configure, specify, or price Nucraft furniture. Here is how it works :
1. Schedule an iSpec session by calling 1-877-NUCRAFT or by visiting www.nucraft.com/ispec.
(You will be asked to provide some preliminary information on the project. We will respect the
confidentiality of the information.)
2. At the scheduled time, a Nucraft project specialist will contact you at the telephone
number you provide.
3. You will be directed to the online collaboration site. (All you need is an Internet connection
and a Web browser.)
4. Once you are at the site, the Nucraft project specialist will work with you in real time to
configure the required product based on your specific direction. (Watch the screen as your
workstation appears.)
5. When the specification process is completed, you will receive 2-D or 3-D drawings, the
specification itself with guaranteed accurate pricing, and the estimated lead time.
(Follow-up sessions may be scheduled at your request to make any necessary modifications.)

Available in a variety of sizes, styles and connectivity options, Power Matrix is Nucraft’s most versatile power option. Power Matrix
incorporates a broad array of scalable features and is available across multiple product lines, making it the “go to” solution for power
and AV connectivity needs.

Standard Configurations
Power Matrix is offered in four standard sizes,
each with a pre-determined quantity of simplex
outlets and AV faceplates. With each size, an
optional dual 2 amp USB charger (1 amp per
port) replaces one of the simplex outlets.
Small and Compact

Power Planning
Power Matrix is available with two
options for connection with building
power:
Direct Plug-In
• Direct Plug-In - the 15-amp
power cord from each Power
Matrix unit is plugged into a
floor monument. The floor
monument must have at least one
power outlet per Power Matrix
unit in the table (e.g., a table with
four Power Matrix units would
need four power outlets in the
floor monument).
• Single In-Feed - each Power
Matrix unit is plugged into a
two-circuit modular electrical
system in the table from which
a single connection is made
to a floor monument. This
connection can be either
hardwired (to utilize both of the
circuits in the modular electrical
system) or corded (which
requires a 20-amp power outlet
in the floor monument and
reduces the modular electrical
system in the table to a single
circuit).
Single In-Feed
Two-Circuit Modular Electrical System
• 4-wire, 20-amp, 2-circuit modular electrical system.
• Only present on tables specified with the Single In-Feed option.
• Hardwire or corded (20-amp) in-feed options. A licensed electrician is required
to complete hardwire connections to building’s power source.
• Neutral (white) wires are 10 gauge, hot and ground wires are 12 gauge.
• All electrical components satisfy National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
and are UL listed.

Field-Wired
Some local electrical codes may require fieldwiring during installation. In such instances,
a Field-Wired option may be specified. In this
configuration, each Power Matrix unit will be
supplied with a 6’ flexible metal conduit with hot,
ground and neutral wires.
International
For international installations, Power Matrix
units can be specified with a UK solution. In this
configuration, Power Matrix is available in the
Medium, Large and Extra Large sizes.
