share their Inuvialuit culture through stories and song.

Jigging Demonstration

Be entertained by these local jiggers and dancers as they get you excited to try a few moves of your own!

Old Time Dance

Jig the sun back to Inuvik and learn some steps from the locals with a traditional Old Time Dance. Enter the jigging contest to win
cash prizes!

Sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Come on out and fill up on the sunniest eggs, the fluffiest pancakes and

Sunrise Snow Park

Bundle up and bring the kids! Sliding hills, games, snow carving competition
(with cash prizes), warming tent, warming fire, concession foods and FREE

Need to warm up from the day’s activities? Looking for locally made arts, crafts and baked goods? Join local bakers, crafters and
artists in an indoor version of our summertime Arctic Market. Craft workshops will also take place.

Dress warm and watch the sun set as your instructor puts you through a low-key workout. Sun salutations, anyone?

Visit the Ice Road Village for something warm to eat or drink and gather around the ice inspired furnishings. Community food

Sunrise Bonfire and Fireworks Finale

Sure to be the BIGGEST fire this side of the Arctic Circle! Come down, get warm and ring in the New Year and return of the sun
with our annual fireworks extravaganza! A local favourite. Fireworks will begin at 7:00 PM.
