Please use our online entry form if at all possible. Please note that the entrant’s name and grading code will be published on our website. If you wish your name to be kept out of the published list please tick the relevant box on the entry form. How to obtain the lower entry fee shown on page 7 For the Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 finals you need to be an ECF member at Silver level or above. Silver membership is free for juniors who have not previously been ECF members and £15 for those renewing online. For full details see the ECF website, and go to Membership/Joining the ECF. The Under 16, Under 18 and Under 21 finals are FIDE rated and so English players must be ECF members at Gold level or above (£25 for juniors Under 18 and £31 for adults if you join online at the ECF website, englishchess.org.uk). Non-English players in these events must be members of their national federation and will have to add £1.50 to their LJCC entry fee to cover FIDE rating. Details Qualification is required for the Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 Finals. See pages 4 and 8. Ages are calculated as at midnight 31 August 2015. Please enter via web site using the form on page 7. A Late penalty fee of £10 is due for entry fees received after Tuesday 8 December for the Under 10 and Under events and after 23 December for the other events. Please note that entries sent in the week leading up to the event may not time. Half Point Bye. Any competitor may request a half point bye in any round except the last.
