Presidents Message
We had had an eventful few weeks on the field and all our teams are settling in well for a great season.
The teams are coming together well and have played some amazing football. When the heaven’s opened
up the commitment shown by our players, coaches, team mamangers, volunteers and parents was
monumental. We are proud of the participation and community spirit fostered.

If you want to see your age group (and child) featured in the newsletter, please email photos taken during the
match or training to us for possible inclusion. All photos must be over 300kb and no larger than 9mb. We may
also use them on our Facebook page and Saints website. Children will not be identified by name.

year.Itisostensiblyanover35sgroup(negotiable)butwecaterforallskilllevelsandabilitiesbutit
isasocialgroupthatbuildsonthesuccessoftheclubandhasanumberofsocialeventsthroughout
theyear.
FortheuninitiatedthesportingpartinvolvesafriendlykickofthefootyeachSundaymorningduring
thefootyseasonatHeffronParkMaroubrawithkickingandhandballdrillsculminatinginthe
famousStateofOriginseriesinvolving3(modifiedrulesienotackling)gamesbetweenNSWandthe
RestoftheWorld(ROW)
ROWisthecurrenttitleholderafteredgingoutNSWingame3ofatightlyfoughtseriesin2015.
EachSundayweusuallydrawagroupofanywherebetween10–25peopleandhaveagood
workoutforaroundanhour(ieit’snottootaxing)butongameday–crowdsof30for40arenot
uncommon.
Anyway,therecruitmentdriveforseason2016isnowunderway.

Lost and Found
If you have lost an item, even at another field please
email us and we will endeavour to find it for you. Also
ask at the canteen or the ground manager who can
assist. Please label all your items with your name and
a mobile number for a quick return. We currently have
items outstanding email us if they are yours or are found.

Auskick Parent Training Session
We have secured an AFL parent training session, to provide parents with training on how to
participate in the Auskick training sessions, games and skills that can be practiced at home.
The session will be run on Wednesday 4 May at 4:30PM – 5:15PM at Heffron - we will run the session
in the section of the field in between where U6 and U8 train.
The Under 5 parents are particularly encouraged to attend if you can. But all parents will get
