Our Friends and
Thank you to each WSA Junior Tomorrow member for
putting together a “Trick or Treat” bag for every Senior Hub
Meals on Wheels recipient on Halloween. You selected a
great assortment of items inside each bag. Those fun bags
are something the clients really enjoy. Each bag contained a
variety of items designed to be enjoyed throughout the days
ahead.
You should be very proud of yourselves for continuing to
provide these bags to homebound seniors for over 11 years.
Our clients really appreciate being remembered by youth on
a day that usually concentrates on kids receiving the “Trick
or Treat” bags. We hope that you enjoyed putting the bags
together as much as our clients enjoyed receiving them.
Thanks again for a great job.

We just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to
your group for the Halloween bags. We even had a

Religious Award
Father Charles Flynn presented the “I Live
My Faith” award to Morgan Schuchard of
Resurrection Parish in Eveleth. The “I Live My
Faith” award is a Catholic religious recognition
award program for Girl Scouts that began in
1976. It encourages the Girl Scout to look at
how she participates as a member of her family
and also her parish family by exploring various
forms of service to the parish, self and others.
The Girl Scout learns to live her faith in everyday life.
The award is to compliment and support the
parish Religious Education Program.
Morgan is twelve years old and in the seventh
grade. She is a member of Girl Scout Troop
1222.
Many thanks for your generous donation to Cause for

Dear WSA:
• Take in unwanted cats, get them tested, vaccinated,
spayed/neutered, then find them permanent,
loving homes.
• Assist in paying for the spay/neuters of pet cats
whose owners are unable to pay for the procedure.
We are so grateful to you.

Jack Frost
The door was shut, as doors should be,
Before you went to bed last night;
Yet Jack Frost has got in, you see,
And left your window silver white.
He must have waited till you slept;
And not a single word he spoke,
But pencilled o'er the panes and crept
Away again before you woke.
And now you cannot see the hills
Nor fields that stretch beyond the lane;
But there are fairer things than these
His fingers traced on every pane.
Rocks and castles towering high;
Hills and dales, and streams and fields;
And knights in armor riding by,
With nodding plumes and shining
shields.
For, creeping softly underneath
The door when all the lights are out,
Jack Frost takes every breath you
breathe,
And knows the things you think about.
And here are little boats, and there
Big ships with sails spread to the breeze;
And yonder, palm trees waving fair
On islands set in silver seas,
He paints them on the window-pane
In fairy lines with frozen steam;
And when you wake you see again
The lovely things you saw in dream.
And butterflies with gauzy wings;
And herds of cows and flocks of sheep;
And fruit and flowers and all the things
You see when you are sound asleep.
