Lenten Spiritual Direction: Listening to God’s Voice in Sacred Writings
6:30pm, Thursdays, Feb. 19-March 26, Parish Center, 2 Rector St.
The purpose of spiritual direction, in general, is for us to become
more attentive to how God is speaking in and through our lives.
The Lenten Spiritual Direction Group offers a place to practice listening—to become better at hearing God’s voice and attending to
how God is walking with us. Together, we practice walking with
one another, attentively and supportively, on our Lenten journeys
of becoming more receptive to God. Come if you have a desire for
quiet, to be moved by Scripture and poetry, and to give voice to
what is deeply authentic, true, and meaningful for you. Group sessions begin with 15 minutes of silence.

be held 10am-4pm at St. Paul’s Chapel. This intitial charette, or
gathering of all stakeholders in a project where diverse thoughts,
hopes, and ideas are used to generate solutions, will be led by the

design for a new building at 68/74 Trinity. Stay tuned for more

to sift through our past to have a richer experience with God, the

Congregational Voice
“People do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that
comes from the mouth of the Lord” (Deuteronomy 8:3). Do you need
answers? Then read the Bible and writings based on Bible truth. Solutions for all of life’s dilemmas are found within the pages of the inspired Word. The answer may not jump out at you the first time you
read a Bible verse, but as you read consistently with an open heart,
solutions will become apparent. An all-knowing, all-loving God has
given you answers. It’s up to you to pick up the book and read them.
