our parish
As Holy Trinity looks to its future, we can never
forget our beginnings and the many blessing we have
received in our 132 year history. Steady growth has
prompted expansion. In the past 20 years, multiple
facility additions, expansions and improvements have
been accomplished - most recently Fr. Quigley Faith
Formation Center, Adoration Chapel in 2008 and school
addition/improvements in 2011. Today, Holy Trinity is
the spiritual home to more than 2700 families.
Our growth
Holy Trinity has grown steadily since the 1970’s and
will continue to do so in the coming years especially as
growth within our western boundary continue. Many of
our faith formation ministries and services rank among
the largest in the Archdiocese. We are expecting one of
our largest school enrollments this Fall as we celebrate
our school’s 100th Anniversary.
Our call
While this growth is a blessing, it also presents
certain challenges. Holy Trinity has a long history of
responding to these, particularly in recent years. As
good stewards, we are called to continue to plan and
provide for the current and future physical and spiritual
needs of our growing, diverse parish family.
Our Plan
With the key initiatives of our master plan now
completed, the parish must focus on the elimination of
our construction debt as well as address some pressing
needs of our church building. These areas are critical to
secure our future financial and spiritual health.
While this growth is a blessing, it also means
responsibility. As good stewards, we are called to take
care of our existing facilities while also planning for the
future needs or our parish family.
OUR NEEDS
Eliminate Our construction Debt | $5.3 million
“Holy Trinity is
a vibrant, caring
community, and we are
glad you are part of our
parish family. Please
join us in this effort
to ensure that Holy
Trinity can continue to
carry out its mission
to cultivate a family of
stewards for Christ.”
Fr. Mike Koller
Pastor
Since 1994 Holy Trinity has completed nearly $20 million in new and renovated
facilities, $10 million of which recently went toward the completed Fr. Quigley
Faith Formation Center, Perpetual Adoration Chapel and school addition/
remodeling. Today, this debt stands at $5.3 million. Eliminating this debt
is the first priority of our parish leadership to ensure our continued health.
Most parishioners with a previous capital campaign pledge are nearing their
completion and ordinary offertory collections today are not sufficient to
support the monthly loan payments.
church needs | $1 million
Built in 1996, our beautiful, highly utilized church is in
need of some significant repairs. These projects will
help ensure the safety of our parishioners, add to their
worship experience and allow us to meet the challenges
expected by future growth. Parish leadership has
identified the following items:
• Carpet replacement
• Painting and woodworking
• Pew refurbishing or replacement
• Acoustical paneling repair
• Sound and lighting systems upgrades/replacement
• Additional parking
• Exterior improvements (92nd Street and sidewalks, lighting, paint)
Your Voice
The next step in our planning process is to hear what you have to say about these needs and their priority. This is will be
achieved by a feasibility study. The results will provide us with valuable information about your ability and willingness to
support Holy Trinity. Your input will allow us to set a reasonable financial goal should we move to the next step, a capital
campaign. The study also will help us indentify potential leaders and potential donors.
Please take part in this feasibility study.
