2016 COWTOWN OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
On Monday, August 17th, at the annual meeting, the club held its annual elections for
club officers and board of directors. See below for elected officers and directors. This was
also the meeting where we could amend the club bylaws, which we did to put the club’s
mission and vision statement in line with requirements for our tax status paperwork. If you
have any questions, concerns or comments, please come to a meeting, contact a board
member or officer, or call me and we will make sure that your voice is heard.

We had approx. 500 shooters over the span of (2) days and got to use Cabela's new blow up
SAFE Archery set up. Kids of all ages got to use the setup and all had a blast with it. We
had a lot of interest from possible new members for the club.

ram harvest a few weeks ago. Way to go!!!!

02/28–03/01/15 – Winter Trad Championship [8am start, cards in 5pm Sat/1pm Sun]
03/07-08/15 – Cowtown ASA State Qualifier [10am shotgun start both days]
03/28-29/15 – Cowtown Club Shoot #2 [Weekend shoot, see above]
05/16-17/15 – Cowtown Club Shoot #3 [Weekend shoot, see above]
06/06-07/15 – Cowtown Club Shoot #4 [Weekend shoot, see above]
06/27-28/15 – Recurve Championship Shoot [8am start, cards in 5pm Sat, 1pm Sun]

Upcoming Events
Sept 12th, 2015 @ 7:00am – Set up for National Archery Day shoot.
If you are volunteering to set up a lane, please let a range captain or
another board member know what targets you will need for your
themed lane.
Sept 13th, 2015 @ 8:00am – National Archery Day Shoot, 8am Cali
start, all scorecard in by 12:00pm [Noon], drawing to begin
immediately at that time.
Sept. 21st, 2015 @ 7pm – Monthly meeting @ Spring Creek BBQ in
Lake Worth, on Hwy 199 just north of Loop 820.
Oct. 25th, 2015 @ 8am – Zombie Apocalypse Shoot
