256 Channel Capability
The GTR portable hand-held radio is capable of operating on up
to 256 channels all with alpha naming. The highly popular XU1
450-520MHz model comes pre-programmed with 40 licence free*
UHF CB simplex and repeater channels, and also with 16 on-site
“private” channels that stop annoying traffic from others who
may be on the same UHF CB frequency. If you already have, or
would like your own private frequency, just speak to your GTR
professional dealer to arrange personalised radio programming.

Bluetooth TM
GTR is available with built-in Bluetooth operation, making it one of the few
globally available. GTR’s Bluetooth functionality has been uniquely configured for two-way radio use unlike many of the “add-on” solutions offered
elsewhere. Our Bluetooth allows you to not only use most low cost “garden
variety” Bluetooth audio accessories but also the most sophisticated, high
technology Peltor TM advanced industrial headsets and similar.
Military Standard
The GTR is rated to meet IP-54 environmental conditions as well as Mil Std
810C/D/E & F. Naturally, it features a rock-solid, aluminium die-cast chassis
with an ultra-rugged, high impact, polymer blend housing making it the
perfect choice for the most extreme weather conditions.
Channel Scan
The GTR features four types of channel scan including follow me, dual
watch, priority and regular scan.
Lone Worker
Workplace safety is everyone’s responsibility and GTR’s Lone Worker
feature ensures your radio dispatcher is alerted should your staff fail to stay
in touch within a pre-programmed time interval.

GTR provides smart Unit ID identification using 5 tone or DTMF signalling
Selective Call
Selectively call one person, a sub-group or everyone in your team. The
choice is yours with GTR’s highly flexible 5 tone selective call system. All
international tones and durations are supported.
Safety Tone
This unique safety feature helps while moving large or dangerous equipment, such as trains, cranes, prime movers and other potentially dangerous hazards. Should the user release the Safety button for any reason, the
dual safety tones will disappear so the driver knows to stop immediately.
Kill /Revive
Should a radio be lost or stolen, the dispatcher can remotely
“kill” the radio making it inoperable, thereby preventing
unauthorised use of the radio by others. Additionally, the
radio can be configured to be revived over the air when
recovered.

Warranty
All GTR Radios are covered by a full and comprehensive
warranty and are warranted to be free from defects in
material or workmanship including any associated
accessories (i.e. battery, antenna whip, belt clip, audio
accessories, desktop charger, etc.) for 12 months from
the date of purchase. Wireless Pacific, will, at its option,
replace or repair parts found defective and pay return
shipping to the registered owner.

NOTE:
All GTR Radios are Narrowband ready to accommodate
the proposed 12.5kHz expansion of the Australian UHF CB
licence free service. GTR radios have the necessary built-in
channel capacity to be easily programmed to meet these
proposed changes.
3 Year Warranty
For a nominal charge the warranty on the GTR radio unit
can be extended for a total of 36 months from the date
of purchase. Naturally, this extended warranty does not
cover associated accessories, however any defective
accessory will be replaced during the post 12 month
standard warranty period at 30% off the then current
published price.
The warranty applies only to the original owner and tdoes not apply to a
GTR radio which we determine has failed due to physical damage,
corrosion, accident or, unauthorised or improper use, repair or modification.
The owner is responsible for the transportation costs of the equipment back
to the place of purchase. In no case will Wireless Corporation Ltd accept
responsibilty for incidental or consequential damages.
