he Museum is located on historic Ford Island, in the
original WWII hangars that survived the attack on Pearl
Harbor, giving students of all ages a front row seat to the
Pacific Theater. This unique and interactive perspective of
aviation history spotlights the achievements of the pilots,
crews and the behind-the-scenes heroes that make the
history of aviation in the Pacific come alive.

isit all four Pearl Harbor’s historic sites traveling from
the day of infamy to the day of peace. Visit the Arizona
Memorial in the early morning light, tour the USS Bowfin,
Pearl Harbor’s avenger, before traveling over to historic
Ford Island for lunch at the Pacific Aviation Museum.
Spend the afternoon flying through history at the aviation
museum.
The Pacific Aviation Museum’s school programs are
coordinated with the HCPS III Benchmarks in Math, Science,
Social Studies and Language Arts. Comprehensive activities
and supplements are provided to teachers to use before and
after their museum visit.
Finish the day and spend the night where WWII ended
aboard the USS Missouri. Eat, sleep and live the life of a
WWII sailor, waking up to breakfast in sight of the Arizona
Memorial. Live a day in the life of WWII history from the
inside out:

brought the United States into World War II. Tickets
for the film are free and given out on a first come, first serve
basis. You may talk to a survivor, or tour the grounds and
museum while waiting for your program.

ubmerge yourself in the history of submarines! Climb
aboard the USS Bowfin, the “Pearl Harbor Avenger,” to
understand just how confining and demanding the life of the
undersea warrior was.
Self-guided tours of the Bowfin and our fully air-conditioned
submarine museum await you and your students.
School group admission fees are $2.00 per student through
high school, and $4.00 per accompanying adult.
We are open daily 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Please allow
90 minutes for your visit.
The Arizona Memorial is operated by the National Park
Service and is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except
for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

in person, an Arizona Memorial Museum Assn. staff member
can come to your venue and present a 30 minute “Virtual
Experience” free of charge. ”Witness to History” is our
free video teleconferencing program, that connects your
classroom to the Arizona Memorial and an attack survivor.
