1. Introduction
LAW-921 Wi-Fi Miracast Adapter is our Lavod’s new debut chic gadget which can make not only the video also
photo and music stream pushing from your smart phone, tablet to your TV .
Via Airplay, you could make not only the video also photo and music stream pushing from your smart phone, tablet
which own IOS5.0 or above OS to your TV .
Via DLNA, you could make not only the video also photo and music stream pushing from your smart device(Dual
Core or above) which own Android 3.0 or above OS to your TV .
Of course , all contents on your smart device which has now built in Miracast(Android 4.2 or above original OS built in
such feature) can be projected 100% synchronously to TV.
LWA-921 will let you enjoy the bran-new entertainment experience brought from hi-tech .

4. Installation
① Paste the small mount on the back of TV at the suitable position
② Assemble the device to the big mount via attached screw(optional :crosswise or lengthways)
③ Hang the big mount(well-assembled device) over the small mount
④ Connect the HDMI and USB cable to the correct interface on TV
Notice：while assembling and placing the LAW-921, please pay special attention to do not let any metal object
blocking between this Adapter and your smart device , so that it will not block the wireless signal
transmission .
5. Product using
After connecting LWA-921 with TV via HDMI and USB cable , then turn on the TV and switch to HDMI model .
NOW LWA-921 is standing by and the scenes on television as below :


Please reference 5-1 and 5-2 descriptive item , if your smart device are Android 3.0 or above
Please reference 5-3 descriptive item , if your smart device has now built in Miracast(Android 4.2 or above
original OS built in such feature)

5-1 DLNA local sharing
As for smart device(phone , tablet) which own Android 3.0 or above OS , you could make not only the video also
photo and music stream pushing from your smart device to TV via DLNA
5-1-1 Connecting
Find the LWA-921(code: DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX) in the setting menu of “WLAN” on your smart phone , Click and
type into Default Passwords “12345678” to connect your smart device with LWA-921 .
5-1-2 Sharing operation
After connecting successfully , run the APP (like “BubbleUPnP”, you could download from your App store)
which can used for DLNA sharing , select the connected device LWA-921（Code: DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX）.
Then you could shareing the vedio ,pictures,music to your TV through selecting on “PLAYLIST” or “LIBRARY”
list as you wish.
5-2 DLNA Internet Sharing
5-2-1 Connecting
Find the LWA-921(code: DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX) in the setting menu of “WLAN” on your smart phone ,
Click and type into Default Passwords “12345678” to connect your smart device with LWA-921 .

Sharing operation
After connecting successfully , using your QR Code scanner on your smart device to scan the QR Code in the
bottom right corner (or you could type into the website : http://192.168.10.1 in your browser)
then enter into browser to set LWA-921’s menu .
Click “WiFi Setup”on the settings menu , select your local Wi-Fi network to connect .
Tips：LWA-921 add WPS function which needs not type into the password to connect your Wi-Fi network
to simplify operation.WPS button see the picture below.
After connecting successfully between your LWA-921 and your local Wi-Fi , TV will display your local Wi-Fi
name in the top right corner , see pictures below：
Open network video sites and find video which you want to share, then click DLNA . Video sharing completed and You
can see it in the TV set.
Notice：the network sharing function of DLNA can only sharing the video comes from the video websites which
support sharing function of DLNA.
5-2-2 Disconnect
After connecting successfully , using your QR Code scanner on your smart device to scan the QR Code in the
bottom right corner (or you could type into the website : http://192.168.10.1 in your browser)
then enter into browser to set LWA-921’s menu . Click “Virtual AP → Virtual AP only”on the settings menu ,
then LWA-921 could connect with network.

could make not only the video also photo and music stream pushing from your smart device to TV.
Notice：before connecting Miracast, please make sure your smart device’s Wi-Fi is off-state
5-3-1 Connecting
Choose“Settings”in your smart device→“Display”→“Wireless Display”→“LWA-921
（Code：DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX）”，Click LWA-921 Code, connection finished.

Sharing operation
Connecting successfully，The screen of the smart device can share to TV screen real-timely and
synchronization。
If you want to disconnect,just follow above steps to operate.
5-4 Support sharing for SAMSUNG S3、SAMSUNG note2、HTC new one
5-4-1 Sharing
5-4-1-1 Connection setting
Find the LWA-921(code: DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX) in the setting menu of “WLAN” on your smart phone , Click
and type into Default Passwords “12345678” to connect your smart device with LWA-921 .
5-4-1-2 Mode switch
After WLAN connecting, you may scan QR Code to enter into LWA-921 setting.(Or input LWA-921 IP address to
enter into browser. IP address：http://192.168.10.1)，Click "Switch",it will become AP mode.
The device will automatically reboot. Mode switch successfully.

Sharing operating
After mode setting successfully “setting → more settings → AllShare Cast → LWA-921
（Code：DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX）”. Once connecting successfully, TV Set can share video,photos,
music from the smart device.(When video sharing，It is not same screen to display between TV set
and the smart device.)

5-4-2-1 Setting
“Setting → More settings → AllShare Cast → LWA-921（Code：DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX）
”，
Click to disconnect.

Mode switch
“Setting → WLAN → WLAN Direct → LWA-921（Code：DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX）”，Click to connect.
After WLAN connecting, you may scan QR Code to enter into LWA-921 setting.(Or input LWA-921 IP address to
enter into browser. IP address：http://192.168.10.1)，Click "Switch",it will become AP mode.
The device will automatically reboot. Mode switch successfully.
Notice：It must be AP mode to Share with DLAN,Miracast, Airplay. It must be P2P mode to share with
SAMSUNG S3、SAMSUNG note2、HTC new one. Our factory default mode is AP.
5-5 Airplay Sharing
IOS 5.0 and more than native system supporting Airplay function, can share video,photos,music through Airplay
function.
5-5-1 Connecting
Find the LWA-921(code: DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX) in the setting menu of “WLAN” on your smart phone , Click
and type into Default Passwords “12345678” to connect your smart device with LWA-921 .
5-5-2 Sharing
After connecting successfully,open the file and click Airplay, then you can share all the files to TV,
for example, video,picture,music etc.
6. Firmware upgrade
6-1 Connecting
Please connect LWA-921 to TV set correctly and open power supply,until standby screen.

Firmware download
Please open our website: www.lavod.com ，”Service support”→”software” .
Please find LWA-921 upgrade software :”install.img” to your computer.

Configuration upgrade
Please find LWA-921 in Wi-Fi setting and connecting.( Code:DIRECT_Lavod_XXXXX)
After connecting completely,open browser and input LWA-921 IP address: http://192.168.10.1
Then you can see below menu：
Click “Settings”
Select“Firmware Upgrade”，→ Upload Upgrade”→ “Upload”.
After Upload completely,there is “Upload success”prompting,then restart. Then the unit automatically restart .
Upgrade automatically within 30 seconds.
When upgrading , there is process bar prompting in TV Screen.
After upgrade successfully, there is “ Install completed” prompting in TV Screen. Then restart. Upgrade
completely.
7. Warranty Terms
Warranty is provided for any defect in workmanship of the product within one year from the date of purchase.
For any defect in product quality during the warranty period, we may, at our own discretion, repair the faulty
component or replace it with an acceptable one. Any malfunction of or damage to the product resulted from
user's negligence or any other personal causes shall be out of warranty.

Please do not disassemble the product without permission.
Please do not use this product in damp environment.
Pleased do not use this product in more than 40°environment.
Pls do not use accessories from non-manufacturer suggestion.
Pls unplug the power supply,when thunder and lightning or long time not to use this product
Damage due to wear normally caused in use or any force majeure shall not be under this warranty.
We shall take no responsibility for any accident, injury, death, loss or claim therefore resulted from use of this
product.
In no case we shall be responsible for any incidental or indirect damages for injuries arising from use of this
product or any component.
