Elliot’s 25th Anniversary Collection
In celebration of my 25 years in the Enamel Industry I am delighted to introduce
my anniversary collection of 25 designs each in a limited edition of 25 with one
prestige 1/1 vase.
I have carefully chosen the Enamels for this collection to include a variety of
popular and rare shapes and subjects that I hope you will love. As always, each
enamel is individually freehand painted by the Elliot Hall artists, and the collection
includes work by Marie and Peter Graves, Fiona Bakewell, Sandra Selby, Nigel Creed,
Angela Roberts, Mick Cooke and Elizabeth Todd. And, to add provenance, every
Enamel will carry a specially designed label detailing the 25th anniversary.
I am proud to be the fourth generation of Halls to be involved in the copper making
and enamel industries – my great grandfather, Alfred, first set up in business in
1904 and I joined my father at Kingsley Enamels in 1989. Serving an
apprenticeship in the factory, I started at the bottom sweeping the floors and moved
up through different making and administration departments to learn all aspects of
the business. My mother and father taught me about the importance of attention to
detail and to be proud of our handmade quality, and from my time on the road,
selling, I learnt about integrity.When Kingsley Enamels was sold to Moorcroft
becoming Moorcroft Enamels in 1998, I had the opportunity to enhance my
expertise and understanding of commerce by working with the Moorcroft team, but
my dream was to have a family owned enamel business once again.This was fulfilled
in 2006 when I set up Elliot Hall Enamels with Tiffany, who is now my wife.
Our vision has always been to produce the finest hand painted enamels in the world
without compromise and, by exploring techniques, to push forward the boundaries of
the art of enamel making.We remain passionate about artistry, about exquisite
painting and exceptional quality and about continuous innovation.
Being able to make enamels that give collectors great pleasure is the best feeling in
the world, and so I thank you for your loyal support in allowing me to continue the
Hall family tradition.
