Carlos Creek Winery has complete discretion as to its use and distribution. There will be a 7.375% (or current MN sales tax) sales tax applied to all food, beverages, equipment, labor and service charges. Alcohol tax (2.5%) will be applied to all alcohol purchases. Includes beautiful stone aisle, wood arbor & wine barrel tables. 20-350 people. VINEYARD AMPHITHEATER Set in the oldest part of our vineyard with stadium-style seating overlooking the rolling hills of grape vines. Includes a stage with a white wood pergola. 20-350 people.. SOCIAL HOUR ORCHARD TERRACE Enjoy beverages & appetizers atop the terrace over looking the vineyard. Setup lawn games or just enjoy socializing with family & friends. Comes with wrought iron chairs & tables, wine barrel high tops and a wood bar. Seated up to 70 people. Standing up to 350 people. RECEPTION GRAND STABLES RECEPTION HALL A beautiful mix of vineyard and rustic barn with warm tones, rich woods & many wine barrels. This setting will take you and your guests to the rustic wine regions of France & California without leaving Minnesota. Includes white lanterns & mason jar decor to add to the rustic charm. Seats 100-350 people. WINE TASTING ROOM Intimate setting for small weddings. Wood dining tables, marble top bar & wine barrels add to the authentic winery charm. Seats 20-70 people. POLICIES & GUIDELINES RENTAL TIMING GRAND STABLES ROOM RENTAL: Friday, Saturday & Holiday Sunday rentals shall have the use of the Grand Stables Reception Hall and dressing rooms from 10am-12am. Decoration setup time will be from 10am-1pm. Doors to the reception hall will be locked at 1pm. WINERY TASTING ROOM RENTAL: Week day rentals (Monday - Thursday) shall have the use of the Wine Tasting Room from 6:30pm-11:30pm and the dressing rooms from 10am-11:30pm. Decorations may not be setup until 6:30pm. Music and alcohol service must cease no later than 30 minutes prior to the end of the event or no later than 11:30pm. DJ or band and wedding couple have until 12:30am to remove all items from the premises including (but not limited to) any decorations, personal items, gifts or items other vendors supplied.. CEREMONY & SOCIAL HOUR You will have access to your ceremony venue one hour prior to your scheduled ceremony time. Rental includes two hours of rental for the ceremony location including the one hour prior to ceremony. Social hour venue will be set one hour prior to scheduled social hour. No alcohol will be served until scheduled social hour time begins. FACILITY We only host one wedding a day at the winery, but may schedule other non-wedding events the day of your wedding, including wedding rehearsals, groom’s dinners, corporate groups, etc. REHEARSAL Rehearsals are included in the rental at no charge and must be scheduled with your Wedding Director at least one month prior to your wedding date. Rehearsals may be scheduled Monday - Thursday 10am-5pm and Fridays 10am-12pm. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations must be submitted to the Director of Events in writing. In the case of a cancellation the following will be due to Carlos Creek Winery: 180 Days Before $2,000 90 Days Before $2,000 + 50% of estimated balance 30 Days Before $2,000 + 75% of estimated balance 14 Days Before $2,000 + 100% of estimated balance DATE CHANGE You may change your date up to 30 days after booking with no penalty. If you change your date between 31-90 days after your original booking date 50% of your original deposit may be applied. Any changes made after 90 days will require a new deposit. SMOKING Smoking is not allowed inside any buildings and is only allowed outside in a designated smoking area. POLICIES & GUIDELINES CONTINUED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES STATE LAW PROHIBITS BRINGING ALCOHOL ONTO THE CARLOS CREEK WINERY PREMISES. Carlos Creek Winery is licensed to allow the consumption of beverages provided by Carlos Creek Winery. Carlos Creek reserves the right to confiscate any alcoholic beverages that are brought onto the Carlos Creek Winery property. State law prohibits consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 21 and Carlos Creek Winery reserves the right to card anyone when purchasing alcohol. Any representative of Carlos Creek Winery reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears to be intoxicated. Failure to act responsibly and maintain self-discipline may result in removal of person from premises, legal intervention or termination of event. Bar minimums may be met by a hosted bar, cash bar or combination of hosted & cash. The minimum does not include sales tax. Special order bar items (such as kegs of beer) must be ordered at least 2 months in advance of scheduled event. CATERING All food and beverages must be purchased from Carlos Creek Winery, with the exception of wedding cakes. All wedding cakes brought onto the property must be from a licensed baker. If food or beverages from an outside source are brought onto the property, Carlos Creek Winery reserves the right to hold those items and return following the event, or assess an appropriate charge. Due to Department of Health regulations we cannot allow any leftover food or beverages to be taken off the property. SPECIAL EVENT INSURANCE The host of the event is required to get a liability insurance policy and present it to their Wedding Director at least 14 days prior to their event. The policy is required to have the following: •$1,000,000/occurrence & $2,000,000 general aggregate •Carlos Creek Winery listed as additionally insured •Hosted Liquor Liability FINAL COUNT Final count is due 14 days prior to the event. Minimum charges will be based on the final count given at this time. If count is lower than actual number of attendees, you will be charged per person above final count. Final count should include all children, vendors and special request meals if applicable. WEATHER Certain weather conditions will not provide an enjoyable outdoor ceremony or social hour experience for you and your guests. Carlos Creek Winery provides indoor ceremony & social hour locations if weather prevents outdoor functions. Carlos Creek Winery cannot be held responsible for inclement weather, wild or domestic animals or insects and any disruption, inconvenience or injury that may occur as a result of its/their actions. DECORATIONS Centerpieces are included in the rental, but you may also choose to bring your own centerpieces. There will be no refund or discount for using your own items. Items that you may not use in your decorations are: rice, birdseed, glitter, confetti, open flame candles, fog machines, bubble makers, oil/kerosene lamps, Chinese sky lanterns, real flower petals (inside on the floor), synthetic flower petals outside and NO ON SITE FLORAL ASSEMBLY OR FLORAL STORAGE ALLOWED. Fireworks are allowed if they are setup and set-off by a certified pyrotechnician. No TAPING, GLUING, STAPLING or NAILING is allowed to any element of the property. Choose five of our wines for your wedding bar selection. We also supply domestic or imported beers for your special occasion. We do not allow hard alcohol on our property. We use plastic, logoed beverage containers during outdoor portions of your event and after 9:00PM for your dance to protect guests from broken glass. OPEN BAR OPTIONS We offer several options for a hosted bar, including: open for a set time frame, open for a set budget, open all night or drink tickets. All options go toward your beverage minimum. Wine by the glass: $5-7 per glass (price depends on the wines you choose for your bar) Beer: $4 per 16oz. glass or $375 - $425 per keg (if you choose to provide beer for your guests by the keg, you must have wine open by the glass during the time your kegs are open. No refunds for unconsumed beer in the keg) $4..50 per bottle of beer Drink Tickets You may purchase drink tickets from the winery at $5.00 per ticket. There will be no refunds for unconsumed tickets purchased. Wine Slushies Your choice of Margarita, Sangria, Peach Bellini or Cosmopolitan. $150 Rental + $5.00 per glass (45 or 90 glasses) Wine Pour with the Meal Add $.25 per glass at the open bar price (choose one red & one white that will be served to each guest during dinner) Champagne Toast $4 per person (we will pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic champagne for your guests) CASH BAR PRICING All cash bar purchases will count toward your bar minimum. You will receive all three designs split up in to thirds for your tables. So, 1/3 of your tables will have design 1, 1/3 of your tables will have design 2 & 1/3 of your tables will have design 3. You may choose one style for all three designs that reflects you as a couple.
