A Little Bit about Us!
Thank you for inquiring about Taste of Home Catering. Enclosed are menus, which may be suitable for your event.
If you feel they are not what you are looking for, we will be happy to make further suggestions for your event needs.
The following menus are intended for self-service. In addition to the food, we can arrange all the necessary
amenities to enhance your event. We are a full service company, we will be happy to customize your event to
include all the special requests you may have, by appointment would be appreciated. Please allow ample time when
customized menus are involved. Ask your catering representative about our full selection of rental items and linens.
ORDERING AND GENERAL INFORMATION
If you are interested in scheduling a catered meal, please contact a representative at (630) 323-7979. Our friendly
staff will gladly answer any questions or help plan a special menu. Staffed events, such as BBQ’s, cocktail
reception, open house, dinners, and other events require at least two weeks notice.
Orders can be placed from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
All of our food is freshly prepared; we suggest that you place you orders 3 days in advance. This will insure you
that your selection will be available.
**Cancellation of any event requires at least 72 hours notice. Staffed events require a 14 day notice.
Due to the increased volume business generated during busy seasons, we recommend you book your event at your
earliest convenience. Until we have a signed contract or deposit to hold your date, your event will not be entered
into our book as a confirmed event. We will continue to book other events on that date until we reach full
capacity. Final count for your event must be received five days before the event date.
To ensure all events are given proper attention, Taste of Home Catering reserves the right to close-out certain
days.
PAYMENT PLANS
Unless other arrangements are pre-approved, payment is always due upon receipt of service. We accept cash,
checks and all major credit cards.
**Direct billing must be approved by Management.
Payment is considered past due after 30 days and is subject to a 2% late charge.
All credit card or direct bill invoices will be mailed to the contact person at the beginning of the following
business week.
DELIVERY
All orders will be charged a minimum delivery fee. This includes delivery and setup.
Delivery charges may vary according to location and time of day.
Required minimum order for delivery is $200.00.
When placing your order, please let us know the intended serving time. Your order will be delivered within 15 30 minutes prior to your serving time. Deliveries outside our standard delivery area or requiring special
assistance are subject to additional charges.
Delivery times are subject to availability.

SERVING STAFF AND INSURED BARTENDERS
We take pride in our Serving Staff.
They are professionals with the in house expertise to make your event easy for you and enjoyable for your guests.
Before your event, our staff will prepare you for your guest, set up the buffets, bar or whatever you need to get
ready.
During your event, they will serve food and beverages, keep things clean, tend to the needs of your guests, and
open up your time to enjoy your event.
Afterwards, left over food is packed away for you, rentals made ready for pickup, everything is left spotless.
Plan servers to arrive at least 1/2 hour before your guests arrive.
There is a four hour minimum per server or bartender.
Servers and insured bartenders are $34.00 per hour.
Traveling charges may apply for some locations.
If you are pleased with the service, gratuity may be given directly to your staff.
Gratuity will be automatically charged at a fair rate to all weddings & corporate events.
All serviced KLM events are subject to a $2.00 per guest service charge.
*Due to an increase of business generated during holiday seasons, we recommend you book your servers at your
earliest convenience.

During peak business periods, a minimum of 4 weeks notice may be required to reserve equipment. It is
recommended that you order as early as possible.
Delivery is available on minimum orders of $200.00.
Delivery charges are based on normal ground floor delivery, but does not include setup and take down. This
service is available for an additional fee.
Responsibility for equipment remains with the renter from the time of delivery to time of return.
We do charge for missing, broken, or rain damaged items.
Any late returned linen or rental is subject to an extra charge.
