MEET NATALIE!
Hello! My name is Natalie Reyes and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at
SCM! I am a senior at UC Davis and will be graduating in March. After
graduation, I hope to take some time off from school before earning a
Master's degree in Business, emphasizing in non-profit management. I
enjoys spending my free time catching a Giants game, attending a
zumba class, or watching movies. I love working at SCM because I get
to be in a fun environment and meet new people constantly. I also get to
plan super fun events, like Happy Heart, Healthy Eating Day. I hope you
will consider being a volunteer with us and join Team Leo! See you soon!

CULTURAL CONNECTIONS FEBRUARY: CHINA
AND MARCH: IRELAND
Don't miss Cultural Connections:
Thursdays at 11am (new session!) and 3:30pm (new time!):
February 21: Celebrate Chinese New Year, the year of the snake, with
us! We will be making lanterns, singing songs, and writing in Chinese!
February 28: Chinese Parade: March in a Chinese New Year parade
with us as we pound on drums and make our dragons dance.
March 7: Irish Legends: Come learn about Leprechauns, Banshees,
Merros (Mermaids) and Faeries as we travel across Ireland.
March 14: Shamrocks & St. Patrick - Make a shamrock as we learn
what St. Patrick taught the Irish about the three-leafed, green clover.
March 21: Rainbow Streamers and Singers. Make a rainbow streamer
and learn to sing (in Gaelic) and dance a jig like the Irish.
March 28 Pot of Gold: Make a rainbow mobile while hearing some
mischievous leprechaun tales. Don't forget to kiss the blarney stone so
you, too, can tell a good tale!
