graphic with the bid and do this entirely on line. We call this
the “Woodstar Advantage”.
The Woodstar Advantage helps save you time and money,
while at the same time gives you the ability to present the
client with a visual image of the stall’s being considered
along with your written quote.

Stalls
Installation Is Easy
When you buy a Woodstar stall, we provide you
with all the key component parts to make the
installation go smoothly. Typically, 2 people can
build 4 stalls in one day.
Each stall has been designed as a system so two
people can do the job with little or no carpentry
experience. Using basic tools and reading a level
are the only requirements. Detailed instructions
are provided, and a video shows you what you
need to do. If you need additional assistance, feel
free to call us at Woodstar.
In your Woodstar system you will find each door
has been assembled and sanded to a smooth
finish and drilled for hardware. All the grills are
assembled. If you use our optional post anchors,
you won’t even have to dig any holes.
You are furnished with a materials list that
enables you to acquire the necessary planks and
posts at your local lumber company.

Track and Trolleys:
The oval-shaped track is made of
galvanized 12-gauge steel, and the
Zelcon trolleys have needle bearings
to assure effortless ease while opening
and closing the sliding door.
Post Anchor:
No holes to dig, no concrete to pour. Front posts are set
easily and accurately. If your ground is soil (not concrete or
asphalt), drive post anchor into ground so the welded stud is
above grade. Drill hole in the bottom of the post and set over
anchor stud. Each anchor measures 15”.
To set in Concrete or Asphalt - use “post anchor pin” (PAP).

All Woodstar doors are shipped completely
assembled, sanded, and ready to hang. The standard
door size is 48” x 84”, but can be custom sized to fit
your needs. Choose from any of the seventeen (17)
styles available, ranging from our traditional R-48 to
the contemporary V-48.
D-48
The inside edge of each door is clad with galvanized
edging (“bite guard”) to prevent cribbing. Vertical
door edges are wrapped with a galvanized steel
channel for added protection and beauty. All stall
door designs are also available as solid doors—perfect
for tack rooms, feed rooms, offices, etc. Every order
is stretch-wrapped and shipped directly to your
specified site. Available in either galvanized, black or
green powder coating.

The door shown to the left is
functional yet upscale in appearance.
Pictured in Oak Tongue and Groove
with an 8” reveal, this is a great look for
any barn. Same sturdy construction as
our other stall doors—available in 4” or
8” reveal with optional crossbucks.

Yoke Top Mirrored Diagonal Stall Door
If you are looking for a more contemporary look,
this intricately styled door is sure to fit the bill.
Constructed in the same fashion as the “D” style
door, the Mirrored Diagonal has fast become one of
our most popular doors.
Pioneer Style Door
This rustic “log cabin” look is as beautiful as it
is functional. The 6” wide logs are horizontally
ship-lapped and then vertically rabbited into
the side rails before being backed by 5/8”
plyboard. The structural integrity of this door
is second to none.
Classic Carriage Stall Door
The timeless style and elegance of
yesteryear comes to life in our Classic
Carriage Door. This door is constructed
in the same fashion as our model “V”,
“D”, and “H” doors and is available in all
of these styles—with either a 4” or 8” T&G
reveal. Cross-bucks are optional.

Ventilated Doors
A long time favorite of vet clinics and racetracks, these
doors offer the maximum in air flow and viewing. By
using any combination of our standard grills, bars, yokes
or mesh panels—you may customize a ventilated door
for your particular purpose.
The mesh panel is 5/16” welded steel set at 2” oc. There
is just enough wood used in these doors to offer a
warmth and richness not found in other steel ventilated
doors. Standard colors are black or green powder coat
(special order colors available).

Classic Carriage Solid Door is pictured
but, solid doors are available in all door
styles - R, V, D, H, or MD to provide
you with matching doors for your tack,
office, storage or feed area. The solid
doors are constructed in the same
fashion as the stall doors and bring a
continuity to the barn interior that is
truly a “finishing” touch.

The doors to the left, right and upper
right were designed by some of our
customers. They wanted a specific “look”
for their stall door and we built the
door to their specifications. You may
submit an idea, drawing or rough sketch

Yoke Insert (YI)
Custom designed to fit
into our yoke top doors,
these heavy gauge steel
inserts will keep the horses
“in” when you want and
let them “out” when you
want. By using automatic pin latches the
inserts are designed to fit securely into the
door.
Decorative Hinges
These stylish and rugged
hinges are the “final touch” to enhance the beauty of your
doors. They are offered in either 10”, 18” or 24” and are
available in either a black or green powder coat finish. Not just
for decoration—these hinges can support the weight of interior
as well as exterior barn doors.
Track Cover (TC)
Add the “finishing touch” to your stalls with this wooden
track cover. Designed to help accentuate the warmth and
character of your Woodstar stall door, this track cover also
helps keep out birds and dirt to ensure a smooth sliding
door at all times.

Fold-Down Door Grill (FDDG)
Located in the stall door, the fold-down
door grill allows your horse the freedom
to put his or her head out. Two automatic
pin latches secure the door grill in the
closed position.

Finally, a miniature horse stall proportionately
scaled down to encompass all the quality and
craftsmanship of our full-size stall. The 32”x 48”
x 21⁄8 “ swinging door is constructed of the same
top-grade lumber as our highly acclaimed R-48 stall
door. The 7/8” diameter zinc coated grill bars are
spaced with safety in mind at 11⁄2 “ apart (standard
grill height 14-3/4”). The front grills and side grills
are available in your specified length. 14-gauge, predrilled U-channels allow for easy assembly.
6’ x 8’ Miniature Stall
Portable Stall
If you’re looking for a versatile, modular stall system, this is
it. The 16-gauge solid or grill stall panels are available in 10 or 12-foot
lengths by 7’ high. They attach easily with our top and bottom mount
connectors. The front panel includes a built-in 4-foot sliding door and a swinging
feed gate. Once the framework is connected, simply install either 2” x 6” or 2” x 8”
dimensional lumber (not included) into the 15⁄8 “ channels. Hot dipped galvanized or
Gray powder-coat finish. Available with optional fold down door grill (inset).

Corner Feeder (CF)
Constructed the same as the
wall feeder, this unit is designed
to fit conveniently into the
corner of your stall. A 6” deep
grain dish is positioned below a
1/4-bale hay rack.
Grain Feeder (GF)
This generous, 6 qt. poly
feeder helps prevent your
horse from pushing or spilling
the feed. Smooth, rounded
edges ensure your horse’s
safety. Corner mounted.
Swing-Out Feeder (SOF)
This feeder provides a safe and efficient means
of feeding both hay and grain. The feeder is
constructed of heavy-gauge galvanized steel with all
corners rounded to ensure your horse’s safety. The
grain dish, made
of high-impact poly, can be removed for cleaning.

Swing-Out Waterer (SOW)
Safe and easy to use, this five-gallon insulated bucket
holder swings freely in a heavy-gauge galvanized steel
frame that is also adaptable to our utility bucket
holder (BH).

Feed Cut-Out (FCO)
Located in the front grill, this
11”x8” opening is large enough

This pivoting door can be built into the
front grill panel at your desired location. The
28”x28” opening is large enough to feed both
hay and grain while allowing your horse the
freedom to put his or her head out.

wide stall gate. Available in
34”, 48”, and 60” heights,
these gates are constructed
of 16-gauge 1” square tubing
and attach to the inside

Nameplates (NP)
Give your horse a personalized
nameplate on his or her stall door.
Each nameplate is fashioned in
beautiful satin-finished brass with
scalloped corners and two pre-drilled

Anti-Crib Coating / Wood Preservative (ACC / ACB)
Our anti-crib coatings are not only effective in
preventing cribbing, but they are safe because they
contain no toxic chemicals, no penta, no arsenicals, and
no creosote. Available in clear or brown.

Stall Mat (SM)
These 48”x 72”x 3/4” mats are of the highest
quality. The deep textured surface prevents
slipping. The reinforced bottom grooves assure

Rubber Paver (RP)
With their unique interlocking design, rubber pavers
provide stability and a rich, finished look to your aisleway

This unique, 2-piece door not
only provides an ideal entrance
to your stable but can serve
as an exterior stall door. Your
horse will enjoy plenty of light, ventilation,
and viewing as well as easy access to and
from the paddock. Our unique “weatherprotector” closure design (inset) helps
eliminate drafts. The upper section (4’x 3’) is
also available with grill bars and/or weathertight 1/4” Plexiglass (M-34 GPT - shown to

Steel Clad Dutch Door Shown with Optional Door Lite
For a maintenance free exterior door, our steel clad Dutch
Door is tough to beat. Each 16 gauge, one-piece door panel
frame is assembled over 29 gauge flat steel sheets which are
attached to both sides of 3/4” exterior grade plywood. Four
heavy steel hinges are bolted into the door to allow for smooth,
free-swinging operation. All steel, including hinges, are powdercoated in a wide selection of colors.

ou tell us what kind of barn door you would like, and we will build it! The
Woodstar custom barn door is just that—custom! It is built to the size and with the
materials that you request. Your door will be shipped directly to your site—complete
and ready to hang!
The structural frame of your door consists
of two extruded aluminum vertical rails.
If a split sliding door is required, one of
the vertical rails has a built-in H closure to
assure a well-sealed, tight fit. The rails are
designed to accept ponderosa pine 2” x
6” door girts. These are placed carefully to

insulated panel, with an enclosed window
grid, or single-pane glass that has been
individually glazed. The sliding hardware
system consists of a track, trolleys, stay
rollers, Stay-Tite latches, door pulls, door
stops, and cane bolts (where applicable).

Loft Door
These handy, functional doors are available with either
sliding or swinging hardware. Adding extra ventilation
and accessibility to the upper portion of your barn, the
loft door comes with or without glass and in your choice
of door style. (Sliding pictured above right/swinging
pictured above left).
Dutch Window
The Dutch Window is very popular for those who want
to maximize ventilation without providing egress from
the stall. Typically, 3’ x 3’ or 4’ x 4’, the Dutch Window
assures plenty of light and ventilation while allowing your
horse to put his head outside. Available in your choice of
size and style.

While most of our doors are constructed of southern yellow pine
and ponderosa pine, we offer a wide variety of woods for every
application. The doors pictured to the top center are rough sawn red
cedar. We have constructed doors of Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Cypress,
Oak, Maple, Hickory, etc. If you have a particular type of wood that
you prefer, let us know, we would be happy to work with you.
