Kristin Burak originates from Calgary,
Canada and has spent many years
working in sales within the travel and
tourism sector in Canada, Bermuda and
the Cayman Islands. Kristin’s positive
attitude, creativity and attention to
detail are a tremendous asset to the
Red Sail Sports Sales Team.
Originally from the UK, Michael Lawday
joined Red Sail Sports in 2008 as a
dive instructor and boat captain before
moving to the DMC team in 2012.
His love of the island both in and out
of the water and a history of forward
thinking and superb customer service
will create a truly memorable experience
for your group.
Caroline Brazington originates from the
UK and joined Red Sail Sports in 2012 as
a dive instructor before transitioning to
the DMC team. With a fresh approach
and extensive background in event
management from the UK, Caroline’s
attention to detail, engaging personality
and ‘can do’ attitude will make planning
your event a pleasure.
Deandra Ebanks was born and raised in
Grand Cayman. She holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Hospitality and Tourism and
has worked in various areas of the hotel
industry in Miami and the Cayman
Islands. Her cheerful nature and love for
the island will help make planning your
excursions an enjoyable experience.
Grand Cayman, BWI
The Cayman Islands are located 180 miles
northwest of Jamaica and 480 miles due south
of Miami. The British Colony consists of Grand
Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, but
the vast majority of the population lives on Grand
Cayman. Grand Cayman is the largest of the
three islands and a premier tourist destination.
With more than 500 banks registered, its capital,
George Town, is the offshore banking of the
Caribbean. Average temperatures for the region
are 78’F – 88’F year round. Visitors travel to the
Caymans to slow down and relax in a setting of
comfort and beauty. A good strategy is to stay
near the beach where the water and trade winds
provide just the right temperature for enjoyment.
Evens the rains cooperate, as the rainy season
consists mostly of brief showers interspersed with
sunshine. You can watch the clouds come over,
enjoy the rain, and have the sun to dry you off
while remaining in your lounge chair!
Cayman’s beaches are considered to be among
the best in the world. Snorkelers will find an
underwater paradise and beach lovers will marvel
at the powdery sands of Seven Mile Beach. The
abundance of marine life and spectacular coral
reefs which can be found in the surrounding
waters make the Cayman Islands ideal for diving
enthusiasts.

Grand Cayman is only 22 miles long and 8 miles across at its widest point. Cayman
Brac, northeast of Grand Cayman, is about 12 miles long and 1 mile wide. This area is
dotted with fascinating caves and dozens of wrecks for divers to explore. It provided the
basis for Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel Treasure Island. Seven miles southeast
of Cayman Brac, at just 10 miles long and 1 mile wide the tiny island of Little Cayman is
best known as a sanctuary for wild birds and iguanas. It is also the primary site for bone
fishing. English is the official language
of the islands, although it often sounds
as though the speaker is combining an
American southern drawl with a lilting
Welsh accent. Time Zone: U.S. Eastern
Standard Time is in effect year-round;
daylight saving time is not observed.
Currency: Although the American dollar is
accepted everywhere, you’ll save money
if you go to the bank and exchange U.S.
dollars for Cayman Island (CI) dollars.
Electricity: 110 volts AC 60 cycles, so
American and Canadian appliances will
not need adapters or transformers.

Site Inspection
Your Red Sail Sports Sales Manager will
organize your familiarization trip so that you
can experience a wide range of activities and
restaurants. We will arrange round-trip airport
transfers, take you on a tour of the island and
show you selected restaurants for dine-around
evenings. Let us make arrangements for you
to experience activities, including a sail on the
catamarans, and assist you with any other preprogram details.
DMC Service Charge
No payments are accepted on an individual
basis. All prices are in US dollars and are
subject to change without notice. A 10% DMC
service charge will be incorporated into your
final invoice total for third party vendors. Items
owned and operated directly by Red Sail Sports
are exempt from DMC fee and indicated as:
Hospitality Desk
A Red Sail Sports representative will be available
at your hospitality desk to assist your group with
restaurant reservations, golf tee times, scuba
diving, watersport arrangements and to provide
information on many other activities.

Red Sail Sports can arrange all your transportation needs to ensure timely and efficient transfers. The buses are air-conditioned, clean
and maintained by professional staff. Airport transportation includes meet and greet services with identification signs, cold bottled

Catamaran Charters
Treat your guests to the magic of the Caribbean Sea aboard Red Sail Sports’
luxurious sailing catamarans. The Spirit of Ppalu, Spirit of Poseidon, Spirit of
Cayman and the Spirit of Calypso are designed with your guests’ comfort in mind.
The catamarans are approximately 65’ long and feature plenty of cabin space,
trampoline nets for sunbathing, ample shade, and restroom facilities. Enjoy the thrill
of sailing and relax as our attentive crew takes care of your every need.
Take your group to the world-famous Stingray City for a day of snorkeling and
fun-in-the-sun. Guests will treasure their opportunity to “play” with the Southern
Stingrays as our crew feeds them morsels of fresh seafood. A cool rum punch from
the bar is the perfect way to end your day.
Your group can appreciate the splendor of a Cayman Sunset, a delicious Caribbean

The Rum Point Experience
No trip to the Cayman Islands is complete without a visit to world famous Stingray City
Sandbar and Rum Point. Guests can now experience all the very best the island has to
offer combined into our signature group excursion – The Rum Point Experience.
The day begins with a private chartered sail aboard our 65 foot luxury catamarans to
the SRC sandbar where guests will have the opportunity to interact with our friendly
Southern Atlantic stingrays in just 3 -4 feet of water! Our knowable crew is on hand to
assist and educate ensuring everyone is comfortable with these majestic creatures. After
a memorable experience with the rays our next stop brings us to Rum Point where a
private beach buffet BBQ awaits.
Feast on island favorites like jerk chicken or pork, cool Caribbean coleslaw or enjoy a
Rum Point Mudslide as you unwind and take it all in.
Next up an exclusive watersports package to enjoy some fun in the sun or relax in the
crystal clear waters on a kayak, stand-up paddleboard or try your hand at sailing a Hobie
cat. For non-water babies, snooze in a shady hammock, play volleyball or enjoy a relaxing
mini massage – there is something for everyone at Rum Point.
The day concludes as we hoist the sails up for a leisurely cruise back to the dock. As the
afternoon winds down, enjoy a cool Caribbean rum punch to end a perfect day.

Stingray City Sails
Red Sail Sports offers snorkel sails to the famous Stingray City. The Southern
Stingrays are so accustomed to human contact that they swim and play with
snorkelers, especially when fed the fresh seafood provided by our in water guides.
Breakfast with the Rays
Miss the crowds and be the first to have the stingrays all to yourself! Enjoy an
early morning sail aboard one of our luxurious 65’ catamarans to the Sandbar.
Spend an hour playing and snorkeling with the Stingrays before heading to a
second shallow reef stop. Once we have set sail enjoy a continental breakfast
with coffee. A full cash bar is available. Snorkel Equipment is included.

Stingray Sandbar and Reef Sail
This 3 1/2 hour trip makes a first stop at the exciting Stingray Sandbar (3-4
feet deep), where guests will be able to stand or snorkel with friendly Southern
Stingrays for approximately 45 minutes. On our second stop you can snorkel off
beautiful coral reefs with brightly colored fish. There is a full cash bar on board
and snacks are provided. Snorkel gear is also included. Please enquire for current

Stingray Sandbar & Rum Point Tour
This tour first takes you to Stingray Sandbar where guests can stand and play
with the friendly Southern Stingrays for approximately 45 minutes. The second
stop will be to Rum Point where you will be dropped off to enjoy 2 hours of
snorkeling, beach activities or have lunch (not included). The catamaran will
then leave Rum Point at 2:30pm for you to enjoy a relaxing hour long sail back

Kittiwake & Reef Sail
Take a cruise along Seven Mile Beach to some of the best
snorkeling on the island. The first stop takes you to Cayman’s
newest attraction, the Ex-USS Kittiwake wreck. The 251 foot
submarine rescue ship allows guests to take a lazy swim through
a window to the past. The second stop is to a beautiful coral
reef where guests can enjoy the plentiful marine life in the
crystal clear, blue waters. Snorkel equipment and dry snacks are
included and a full cash bar is available. Time: Please enquire for

Sunset Sail
Your guests will be mesmerized by our beautiful Cayman sunset.
Cool sea breezes will fill the sails as they sip a refreshing cocktail.

Dinner Sail
Dine under thousands of sparkling stars on a memorable
and romantic evening cruise. Guests can enjoy their favorite
cocktail from the cash bar as they watch the sun go down. The
catamaran then anchors for a three-course, candlelight dinner.
The evening can be topped off with a delicious Caribbean coffee
for an experience that should not be missed. Please enquire for

Scuba Diving
Grand Cayman is known for its world-class
scuba diving and most notably its “walls.”
The Island’s coral reefs surround the peak
of an underwater mountain which drops
off to the ocean floor thousands of feet
beneath the surface. Hundreds of dive
sites are located along the Cayman “wall”,
the sheer vertical drop-off encircling
the island. With dive operations at five
locations, Red Sail Sports offers easy
access to all of Grand Cayman’s walls.
Our most popular dive sites are located
on the West Wall just minutes from Seven
Mile Beach. Red Sail Sports has three flattop dive boats custom-designed to pick
guests up at our beachfront host hotels.
We also have three V-hull dive boats on
the North side which are perfectly suited
for North Wall diving. Conditions are
typically excellent with water temperatures
between 78 and 82 degrees year-round.
Visibility ranges from 80 to 120 feet.
We dive 365 days a year.
All certified divers must present their
certification cards prior to their dive and
must have been diving within the past two
years or complete a Refresher Course.

Scuba Instruction
Discover Scuba Resort Course
Give your guests the chance to learn to
dive in a single day and discover the beauty
of Cayman’s underwater world under
the guidance of one of our professional
instructors. The course includes a pool and
theory session, a one-tank boat dive, all
scuba equipment and instruction. Guests
will enjoy this unbelievable adventure in
the warm, clear Caribbean waters and
then come back for more! The theory
session teaches students the basic rules for
scuba diving (dealing with water pressure,
breathing on scuba, etc.) The use of scuba
equipment is demonstrated and students
practice using it before entering the
swimming pool where they will learn safe
diving skills. The morning training session,
(approximately two hours) is followed by a
shallow afternoon boat dive. An instructor
will accompany the student at all times
underwater and guide them through a 40’
dive which will last about 30 minutes.
Resort students may sign up for a repeat
resort dive. After completing the initial
Resort Course, Repeat Resort students
can continue to dive for the duration of
their visit and are not required to complete
the theory portion again.
A confidential medical form must be filled
out and returned at least one week prior
to the date of the course, and a physician’s
release may be required.

Beach Games
A variety of beach games are available
from the extremely amusing to the truly
challenging. Beach games are the perfect
icebreaker for groups just getting to know
each other and can also be a fun way for
old friends to get to know a different side
of each other! Most games have a tropical
theme centered on the sea, sand and
sunshine. The following is just a sample of
the games available:
Waiter And Fin
Victims wear oversized fins while running
in sand with a glass full of seawater
balanced on a tray. The tray must be
carried in the correct waiter style at all
times! The team with the most water in
their bucket wins.
Perfect Pass Relay
Teams work in unison to create a trough
using beach noodles to pass a ball in
constant motion down the beach – don’t
let it drop or start all over.
Where’s the Beach
Team members take turns locating a
paddling pool and collecting one beach
toy while blind folded. The team that
navigates the fastest wins!
Pendulum
This is a relay race where team members
take turns tying the hose around their
waist with the orange in one leg, hanging
between their own legs. Their task is to
push a beach ball along a pre-dug trough,
using a “pendulum” swinging motion.
When they reach the other end of the
trough, the next team member will be
poised to set-off!
Beach Towel Volleyball
You’ve never played like this! Classic
volleyball with a twist – look ma no hands!
Players compete in a volleyball match
using beach towels to catch and cradle in
place of hands to bump, set and “spike”
their way to victory.

Caribbean Skiing
Experience a new and challenging team
sport. On top of a pair of high quality
skis, your teams will have to be the
fastest one completing the course.
Team Building Options:
Beach games are designed to ensure the
groups work as teams: every participant
has to contribute in order for the team to
succeed. Games capture the Caribbean
mood by taking full advantage of
sun, sand and water while adding the
challenges of preparing a strategy and
working together to beat the other
teams. Ideal for groups of up to 60.
Rising Water
How to get a ping-pong ball out of a
six-foot pipe peppered with holes, using
only seawater? The fastest team with the
best strategy will win. Think fast and run!
Synchronized Sand Swim
Teams are given swim caps, nose plugs
and 5 mins to choreograph a knockout
routine to impress the judges with their
best swimming moves performed on the
beach. Watch as silliness ensues!
Bridge the Beach
Build a bridge over the beach using
blocks and boards and make sure that
your whole team makes it to the other
side at the same time. Be careful not
to fall since the sharks will be waiting
for you.
That’s a Cool Shirt Mon!
This crowd pleaser pits minds over matter
as teams work together using their
ingenuity and tools provided against a
previously frozen T-Shirt to the point that
it can be worn. First team dressed wins!
Raft Building Competition
This fun team-building competition can
either be part of the beach games or
an event in itself. Teams will be provided
with PVC piping, wood, rope, inner
tubes and oars. They will be given a
set time (15 minutes is recommended)
in which to construct a raft. When it’s
completed, the team carries their raft to
the water and two team members will be
required to paddle their vessel around
an obstacle course.

So named for remnants of rum barrels once
washed ashore from floundering ships this
pristine slice of the northside of Grand
Cayman is a picturesque island retreat.
With its extensive shallow waters shaded
by tall Casuarina pine trees, Rum Point
had long been a gathering spot for locals.
When the original developers happened
upon the shores of Rum Point they were
immediately enchanted by this paradise.
Rum Point Club, with its four employees,
was originally operated by just candlelight
and kerosene.

Rum Point by Day
A 45 minute trip from Seven Mile Beach via land or sea
transports you to North Side and Cayman Kai, where you will
find Rum Point. Day or night, Rum Point is available to suit the
dining, entertainment and activity needs of your group and
can accommodate groups of up to 500 guests. A custom
beach BBQ incorporating local as well as international tastes,
can be combined with your choice of beach activities, spa
treatments or watersports packages. Please note that during
the day our beach and facilities are open to the public, but we
do our utmost to make your group feel as private and exclusive
as possible.

to be missed. Our Restaurant’s vibrant Caribbean

Atlantis Submarine
The Atlantis is the world’s first submarine designed
specifically for underwater passenger excursions.
The submarine features contour seating, comfortably
accommodating 48 passengers, with a series of portholes
on both sides of the vessel’s hull, providing excellent
viewing. Even at 100 feet below sea level, the submarine‘s
air-conditioned cabin remains at sea level pressure.
The tour departs on a regular schedule Monday through
Saturday. Guests must check-in at the Georgetown
waterfront ticket office at least 20 minutes prior to the
tour. Passengers receive boarding passes and a pre-dive
briefing, then board the boat for a short 10-minute scenic
ride along the coast to meet the submarine at the dive site.
The submarine tours the southwest section of the Cayman
Islands National Marine Park, an area well known for its
prolific marine life.
This 40-45 minute tour gives passengers plenty of time to
view the vast coral canyons of the National Marine Park.
As the submarine passes through clear water, passengers
closely view the diverse marine life that has made Grand
Cayman so famous.

Explore the tranquil beauty of Cayman’s ecologically sensitive
coastal environments by kayak. A short, air-conditioned ride
takes you to the Kayak staging area where you will meet your
experienced guide. After a safety briefing and familiarization
with the Kayaks in a shallow, protected area, you will set out
on your expedition, exploring secluded shorelines, inlets, birdnesting areas, sea grass, and mangrove communities. Along the
way, your guide will point out scenes of interest and describe the
importance and interdependence of these fragile ecosystems with
the surrounding coral reefs. You will also have the opportunity
of getting in the water for a refreshing swim and snorkel around

Reef Fishing
Spend the morning trolling and drifting
around the shallow barrier reef in the
North Sound. Some anchoring is required
and light spin casting tackle with an
average 20 lb. test line is used. Commonly
caught species include snapper, grunts,
jacks and Hogfish.
Deep Sea Fishing
Land the big one! Seasonally caught
species include Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi
and Blue Marlin. Boats go no further than
12 miles offshore and lines are in the water
20 minutes after leaving the dock.
The waters around Grand Cayman offer
many types of fishing. Sunny Caribbean
days, top quality vessels and captains
who know where to find the biggest catch
make fishing in Cayman a rewarding
experience. Charters include crew, gear,
tackle, and ice. Facilities include fighting
chair, restrooms and partial shade on

Cayman Motor Museum and Hell
(Approximately 2 1/2 hours)
Enjoy a scenic drive along Grand Cayman’s
beautiful Seven Mile Beach where you will
see historic and traditional Caymanian
homes, prior to arriving at the island’s
newest land attraction, the Cayman Motor
Museum. This collection is a car fancier’s
dream come true. Here you will view the
first car driven in the Cayman Islands
and the original “Batmobile” that squired
Batman and Robin around in the 1960s

The tour begins with a drive by the
Governor’s Residence, located on the
famous Seven Mile Beach. On this drive to
the district of West Bay, guests will be able
to view the lovely resorts on Seven Mile
Beach. West Bay is famous for its historic
and traditional Caymanian homes and
native fruit trees.
The first stop will be at Boatswain’s Beach,
the home of Grand Cayman’s famous
Sea Turtle Farm - the only one of its
kind in the world! Home to hundreds of
newborn hatchlings, the farm boasts four
different species of turtles, some weighing
as much as 600 lbs! The tour guide will
explain the conservation efforts made by
the turtle farm and help your guests take
pictures while holding the turtles. Before
leaving the farm, take a look in their
gift shop, featuring a great selection of
turtle souvenirs.
Next, you will board the bus for a ride to
Hell and back! Hell is a popular tourist

East Side Tour
The tour travels through George Town, the capital of Grand
Cayman, and along residential South Sound Road. The tour then
continues to Pedro St. James Castle, the birthplace of democracy
and the oldest stone building in the Cayman Islands. At Pedro
St. James, guests can enjoy a multimedia theatre, take pictures
and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the gardens.
The tour continues through the district of Bodden Town, the
first capital of the Cayman Islands. Then it stops at The Queen
Elizabeth Botanical Park, which was officially opened by Her
Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on February 27th, 1994. This park
features exotic indigenous plant species and endangered
Cayman Blue Iguanas. The Caybrew Brewery is the final stop for
a taste of Cayman’s own beer.

Jeep Rally
A jeep rally is the perfect opportunity for
groups to explore the island safari-style.
This activity may be offered as either a
self guided island tour, or a half or full day
scavenger hunt where participants are
given a set of clues that will lead them
to various points of interest around the
island. The full day option can be designed
to include a lunch option at picturesque
Rum Point beach on the North Side of the
island. A Red Sail Sports staff member will
be available to greet the guests at Rum
Point and give them an orientation. Guests
can choose to swim in the shallow clear
water, enjoy a delicious lunch from their
great outdoor bar & grill or simply relax
before making their way back to the hotel.
Team members are briefed on the island’s
road rules and are given a packet which
includes the rules of the road, emergency
roadside assistance information and a

Each jeep rental includes insurance, one

Invoke your inner Julia Child in this fun Caribbean-style cooking class
at Ortanique – Grand Cayman’s Cuisine of the Sun Restaurant in
Camana Bay.
The Cayman Islands motto “He hath founded it upon the Seas”
suggests Cayman’s rich seafaring past which is highlighted as guests
learn the secrets of some of Grand Cayman’s signature specialties
such as, local pan seared Catch of the Day, robust conch ceviche,
fritters and more.
Using local produce, seafood and traditional Caribbean methods,
Executive Chef Chef Cindy Hutson instructs the students on how
to prepare her signature recipes and other traditional Caymanian
dishes with some help along the way from the audience. Guests will be
teamed up in groups of 6 with a chef from their kitchen at each table
to guide them through their lesson. Classes limited to 18 people.
Each table elects a head chef to prepare each course and the sous
chefs at the table assist in the prep, plating and serving.
Each course will be complimented with champagne or wine and
taught the art of pairing wine and food. Guests will receive a gift and
copies of the recipes and preparation notes to re-create these island
treasures back home.

About Us
The Red Sail Sports photo department
is exclusively operated by Caribbean
Producer Services (CPS). Our Cayman
Company has been operating in Grand
Cayman since 1990 and has provided
photo support to the Red Sail Sports DMC
for several years. In addition, CPS assisted
in film support to movies, numerous TV
commercials and international and local
group activities.
Numerous photo options are available for
your guests. All photography is performed
using state-of-the-art digital equipment.
The advantage of this process means that
all photos may be instantly reviewed by
our photographers to ensure the subject
matter is correct. Our prints are of the
highest quality and every photo we take is
provided to your client via a CD-Rom at no
additional cost.
Some great candid photo events you
might wish to consider are: welcome &
farewell events, award banquets, team
building activities, individual activities and,
of course, Stingray City.
Possibly the most treasured memento of
a Cayman trip are those photos taken at
Stingray City/Sandbar. We capture this
once-in-a lifetime experience of your guests
interacting with the Southern Stingrays in
the beautiful, clear blue waters of Grand
Cayman. This dive site is rated as the most
popular in the world. Using special Ikelite
underwater housings our photographers
are in the water with your guests and the
stingrays.
A group photo may be scheduled to
coincide with one of your functions at your
host hotel. One of the more unique options
is to photograph up to 70 guests aboard a
Red Sail Sports Catamaran prior to one of
your on-water excursions. Whether formal,
smart casual or beach wear, a group
photo is easily accomplished.
Most groups request couple photographs.
This service is usually performed at the
start of one of your functions either at
your host hotel or off-site restaurant. We
suggest a sunset beach background which
provides a unique Cayman memory for
every guest. Traditional award photos known as “grip and grin” - are readily
staged without any undue time delays in
the presentations.
When any, or all, of the above group,
couple or award photos are scheduled we
prefer to also shoot “happy snaps.” These
informal photos require no time or posing
by your guests and take no additional
time or costs as our photographer will be
present throughout all the events. Some
great photos of your guests enjoying
themselves with each other are available
in either print form or on your no cost
CD-Rom. Plus, since we shoot all digital,
we take more photos than if we had to use
film… often hundreds more!

plan where we “shoot” all events you elect
and provide a wide array of 4 x 6 prints
every day at your guest services desk.
By providing your guests with a snapshot
album, they simply pick up the prints they
desire and create their own personalized
memento of the event. Once we discuss
with you the events you desire to be
covered and the number of guests in your
group, we can quote a firm total price
which will include all the photo time, prints
and even the album.

prior to arrival, Red Sail Sports Grand Cayman will reserve the
outlined arrangements for your Group on a confirmed basis.

Payment Options
Charges may be paid for by Company check. Full payment must
be received 30 days prior to your activity. We will also require
your credit card information as a guarantee for pending charges.
Charges may be paid for by credit card (AMEX, Visa, MasterCard).
Full payment will be processed 30 days prior to your event.
Pending charges will be settled on the day of departure to the
credit card.
Charges may be paid for by wire transfer. Full payment is
required 30 days prior to your activity. Wire transfer information
is available on request. In addition, we will require your credit card
information as a guarantee for pending charges.
Final Balances. All final balances must be settled in full at the end
of each program. NET 10 days of Red Sail Sports Final Invoice
Issued.
100% of the price will be charged for:
Confirmed group bookings canceled due to weather, acts of
God or circumstances beyond Red Sail Sports control will be
rescheduled or are subject to a full refund. Departure points are
subject to change, dependent on weather. Transportation is an
additional charge, depending on your departure location.
