Background to Vipro Vibrating Products
Vipro was formed in 1998 by the current managing director, a seasoned expert with more than 20
years experience in the field of vibration equipment. Since inception we have specialized in the
field of vibration and vibrating equipment. Vipro’s offices are situated in Menlyn, Pretoria and
its warehousing facilities are located in Rosslynn. Our highly dedicated team of suitably qualified
and experienced employees ensures that we deliver on the expectations of our customers,
according to specification, on time and within budget.

Vibrating Equipment Design and Sizing
Custom designed Screens and Feeders…. To date Vipro has designed in excess of 1500
customized screens and feeders to meet customers’ specific process requirements;
Computer aided Design & Sizing….. For all new screens or feeders designed, high level
software is used to accurately size the screening area, motor sizes and suspension. 3D CAD
software is utilized to produce detailed design drawings and 3D models;
Finite Element Analysis…. To ensure the highest level of design integrity, critical components,
e.g. drive beams, are analyzed using finite element Analysis (FEA) techniques;
Supply of Design Data Packs…. In specific cases, Vipro supply to OEMs, detailed design packs
containing all the required drawings, laser cut profiles and material information to allow for Vipro
equipment to be manufactured under license by the OEM. This option is only considered after
assessing the specific OEM’s manufacturing capabilities and verifying that its quality control
process and plans are in line with Vipro’s minimum requirements.
Equipment Manufacturing
Custom manufactured Screens and Feeders…. Vipro manufactures a wide range of vibrating
equipment.
The largest screen supplied, by Vipro, was for the mining industry with a size of 2500 x 5000mm –
This screen is still in operation after 12 years.
The largest feeder supplied, by Vipro, was for the mining industry with a size of 3050 x 6100mm This screen is still in operation after 7 years.
Our standard line of vibrating equipment includes the following:

Vibrating feeders (electro-mechanical);

Vibrating screens including sizing-, de-watering- and scalping screens;

Value Added Reseller Product Range
In addition to our consulting, design, manufacture and services capabilities, Vipro is also the
authorized agents or official distributors for a number of vibration related products. Many products
are supplied from stock. Products supplied include:

Electric Vibrator motors;

Rubber suspension units;

Electromagnetic feeders and drives;

Pneumatic vibrators; and

Range of magnetic products.
Vibrator motors… form a major part of our business. The Venanzetti vibrator motors we sell on
an exclusive basis for the Sub-Saharan territory are supplied, mainly from our large stock, to a
bouquet of users including Original Equipment Manufacturers, Intermediaries and Distributors as
well as End-users.
Venanzetti Vibrator Motors
These motors are designed and manufactured in Italy by the largest vibrator motor manufacturer
in the world with production figures of around 300 000 units per year. Advanced and modern
manufacturing technology is used to set manufacturing standards far above industry norms. The
end-result is top quality motors at very affordable prices.

The following are some of the key benefits associated with any Venanzetti Vibrator motor:

Special execution heavy duty bearings for continuous operation at 100% centrifugal force;

Weights regulation system with calibrated indicator from 0 to 100% of the centrifugal force.
Special device to avoid wrong adjustment of weights;

Long-life lubricating system with possibility of re-lubrication;

Standard painting (120 µm thickness) with epoxy powder, polymerized at 200°C;

Standard mechanical protection IP66.7;

Impregnation of the stator with the following systems:


VACUUM SYSTEM (up to size GA included)

TRICKLE SYSTEM; and
Motor casing in aluminium up to size EA inclusive, in spheroidal cast iron for all other
sizes. Covers and weights in stainless steel for the whole range.
It should be noted that the Venanzetti range of motors are fully interchangeable with the ItalVibras motor range.
These vibrator motors are offered in a wide range of models, voltages and speed ranges. Sizes
vary from as small as 4 kg.f up to 25 000 kg.f. Voltages and frequency ranges include the
following:

220V 50Hz

380 – 415V 50Hz

525V 50Hz

600V 60Hz

12 and 24V DC
Speeds vary from as low as 500rpm up to 25 000 rpm. Please ask for a detailed motor catalogue,

Pneumatic vibrators… A full range of pneumatic vibrators including turbine, ball, roller and
piston vibrators.
Electro magnetic feeders… are supplied to a number of customers where precise control and
the ability to stop the flow of product rapidly are required. Vipro is the recently appointed local
agent for FMC’s Syntron range of light and heavy duty vibrating feeders, screens, grizzlies,
conveyors & magnetic separators.

Suspension Units …. including coil springs, rubber buffers and the highly reliable range of
swiss manufactured ROSTA rubber suspension units, tensioners and motor bases are supplied.
Rosta Rubber Suspension units
Metal detectors…. for belt conveyors, metal-separating devices for lower feed volumes and
permanent magnets form part of this business segment. Metal detectors can be used for security

or detection of metal-based products. All these products conform to ISO 9000 and enjoy CE
approval. The products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months. All units are locally built to suit
local conditions and can be delivered on a short notice.
Magnets… Our range of magnets include electro-magnets, permanent magnets and the very
powerful “rare earth magnets”.
Other Products offered include…. Squirrel cage electric motors, geared motors and speed
reduction gearboxes. Standard Weg squirrel cage AC motors ranging from 0.25kW to 7.5kW in
220 volt single phase as well as 0.18kW up to 330 kW in three phase 380 or 525 volt are on offer
covering the frame sizes D80 to D355.
Vibrating Equipment Services
The portfolio of complimenting vibrating equipment related services Vipro offers include:

Equipment installation and commissioning;

Preventative as well as Corrective maintenance that include the replacement of equipment
liners and side plates; and

Repair of vibrator motors that include rewinding to original manufacturer’s specification by
a Vipro certified rewinding company.

With over 40 years experience in the field of vibration, our organization is well positioned to offer a
comprehensive range of consulting and analysis services.
Vibration Analysis…. Analysis of vibration measurements captured with properly calibrated
digital Vibration meters are used to:

Assist customers in diagnosing and resolving vibration related process equipment problems;

Verify actual performance of all equipment manufactured against specification; and

Assist customers in the area of condition monitoring as part of a larger preventative
maintenance program;

consulting services in the design of vibrating screens and feeders for specific applications.
Expert witness… Vipro act as vibration expert witness in accident investigations as well as in
arbitrational and other legal disputes.
