Memory Book October 10, 11, 12th 2003 Our 40th reunion for the Amphitheater High School Class of 1963 was a huge success ! ! ! Thanks to all who helped with the planning and logistics and especially to all of you who took the time and made the commitment to attend. We had 87 classmates with a total of 127 classmates and spouses attending one or more of the events. We hope you enjoy this Memory Book which will take you through the Dairy Queen Meeting, School Tour, Friday Evening Gathering, Saturday Night Dinner/Dance and the Sunday Picnic as well as providing lots of classmate information. A computer CD ($10) is also available which contains all this information (all photos are in color) and has a copy of the Amphi63.org Web site, a short narrated reunion overview photo story and hundreds of digital ABonus Photos@ that can be printed. C-1 40th REUNION ***AMPHITHEATER CLASS OF 1963 We are pleased that so many people have responded to our plans for the reunion in October. As of mid-August, 64 of our classmates and 40 spouses will be joining us at the different events. Our reunion committee has been meeting regularly to work out all of the details. We have sent out reminders to those who haven’t responded and hope to hear back from a few more who want to come to the events. I went home and prepared myself and clothes including a black wig hat, black stockings and heels, multi-colored plaid, long-sleeved taffeta dress with loads or crinolines, black gloves, and blackened my face with soot and cream and added bright red lipstick. I had asked Mr. Trent if I could be first so I could enter the side stage door to be a surprise when I came out from behind the curtain. I guess that’s what it took for me to get that grade... be someone other than myself.
