Cost:
$34 per person (Does not include transportation)
If we have enough participants, rate will go down by $3 or $4 per person depending upon final numbers.
(Refund of discount will be given). Fee includes ‘standard’ tube. Cancellation Policy: If 7 days prior to
trip, refund less $15 fee will be accessed. Less than 7 days prior; no refund.
Two Options are Available:
FLAT WATER TUBING: The flat water tr ip floats a section of the Shenandoah with a light cur r ent but no r apids. The
trip typically takes 1-1 1/2 hours to complete, although water levels may affect the duration of the trip. Depending on water levels and trip times, you may float the section more than once. This trip is suitable for those looking for a relaxing experience or
groups with younger children (minimum age 4 years and 30 lbs.). All tubers should be in reasonably good health and physically
active. Those exceeding their ideal weight range by more than 35 lbs. may find this trip unsuitable.
WHITE WATER TUBING: White water tubing is a natur e activity; this is not a water par k. Water levels and water
environment can fluctuate. Your trip will involve paddling in and around obstacles, through shallow areas, flat water and white
water rapids. Rocks create white water; therefor you should expect to maneuver around rocks during your trip. Estimated trip
time is 2 ½-3 hrs. This trip can be a challenging activity, therefore it is recommended for those in good physical condition looking for an adventurous experience. There are no staff members on the river to assist you. If you are unsure of your physical and/
or swimming abilities, this trip is not recommended for you. All self-guided white water tubers should be at least 10 to 12 years
old and a minimum of about 5 feet tall. We reserve the right to change the minimum age due to water conditions.
Be aware that this trip is "on your own"; therefore there will be no staff members present while you're on the river. Y ou
MUST wear shoes for this activity, no bare feet or flip flops. Flat water tubers should be able to go on two ‘runs’ during our time
there; White water tubers, once.
