The North Shore Reads is an annual, local
celebration of National Library Week and L.I. Reads
when people throughout Nassau and Suffolk
counties read the same book. Patrons from seven
public libraries on the North Shore — Bayville,
Bryant (Roslyn), Glen Cove, Gold Coast, Locust
Valley, Oyster Bay-East Norwich, and Sea Cliff —
are meeting this year at The Metropolitan in Glen
Cove to enjoy delicious desserts; the wit and wisdom

Intergovernmental Affairs; and a great
book discussion, led by Sarah Siegal.
