MATMS, MRAoA, MICR registered nurse, educator, author and holistic health practitioner, teaching Ayurvedic Reflexology - SMART 1 & SMART 2 in sixteen countries Ayurvedic Reflexology Ayurveda is the traditional healing system of India. It is the oldest known recorded medical system. Massage of the feet and hands has a special place within Ayurvedic tradition. Ayurvedic Reflexology is the dynamic integration of traditional Ayurvedic hand and foot techniques with contemporary reflexology. The work is dynamic, easy to apply and can be easily integrated into existing regimes. Ayurvedic Reflexology is much, much more than reflexology, and is useful to most body workers. The direction of energy (prana) flow within the body is respected and followed during the application of Ayurvedic Reflexology. Attendees learn to identify and work vital energy centres known as Marmas. Some of the most important marmas used for healing purposes, occur in the limbs. “This class was the most professional and well researched and prepared of any continuing education class that I have taken – easily on the level of the Upledger presentations”.
