Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a unique and powerful tradition of bodywork that unites therapeutic massage, assisted
yoga stretching, and herbal medicine. The focus of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is to guide the receiver’s body and mind
into a state of balance through the complete release of tension on all levels; from the dissolution of surface aches and
pains to the realignment of deep postural and skeletal imbalances. When the receiver’s body is at ease and posture
optimized, their physiologic and energetic systems return to harmonic balance, resulting in a profound experience
of wellness.
This is one of the first Ayurvedic Yoga Massage training opportunities in the United States. Students completing this
course of study will learn the basic AYM form, and have the knowledge, skill and confidence necessary to offer a
complete session to a client. All students who successfully complete this training receive a practitioner certificate
and membership to the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Guild. Advanced training opportunities and private instruction are
available.
This intensive training is open to 8 students by application. Experience with yoga & bodywork is a prerequisite.
