As the end of the 2015 flying season is fast approaching our minds go to winter builds and putting skis on a few planes and hope for a few good days to get our flying fix in! Also as a club we are focusing on our 2016 club event! For the Sky Ranch Flyers (West Bend, WI) we only have one show a year to help support the club and to support our local youth group! And for our airshow in 2016 will be held on June 25th (for the past 25 years we always have our show the weekend after Fathers Day) For the Sky Ranch Flyers, 2015 started out with our club coming to agreement with our neighbors and our township on our Conditional Use Permit (If you want to see a copy of it please let me know, I will be glad to share the CUP process with your club, if needed). So with the CUP behind us we focused on the 2015 airshow, which turned out great! Over 500 visitors and 55 pilots from around WI and IL joined us for a great day of flying!!! Thank you to all the clubs that supported our event! Our club also made lots of road trips to other clubs in WI - As far north as Green Bay MAC (a great club!!!) as far south as Racine (another Greta club!)! So we are trying to support your events as well! We also added more runway and a much nicer area for the heli guys!!! All I ask, is that you send me your 2016 events so we can let our members know what is going on in the Midwest! So in closing the Sky Ranch Flyers wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving and hope Santa brings you that big bird for Christmas! As always you invited to stop out and fly at the Ranch!!! Thanks you Bob Schmidt President - Sky Ranch Flyers! www.SkyRanchFlyers.com Newsletter 5
