VENTUS R-S3 (VERSION 2)

“VERSION 2” indicates tires produced after the beginning of 2014 (DOT ending in 14). While
not branded on the tire sidewall nor printed on its label, Tire Rack nicknamed these tires Ventus
R-S3 “Version 2” to help identify them. While “Version 2” tires retain the same tread design, they
feature a revised tread compound designed to reach favorable operating temperatures faster and
produce more grip in damp/wet conditions. NOTE: Since the existing tread design continues to be
used, longitudinal and lateral hydroplaning resistance remains the same if heavy rain or standing
