FOR YOUR INFORMATION
LOST ADULTS/LOST CHILDREN
If child and adult become separated from each other, tell an event staff person wearing a red lanyard. Stay as
close as you can to the place where you last were together.
LOST AND FOUND
All lost items will be brought to the LOST AND FOUND at the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern. If you have lost
something, go there directly to retrieve it. Note that the museum closes at 4:30 p.m. If there are urgently
needed items in the lost and found such as wallets, car keys or cell phones, these will be brought to the
check-in desk at the Deerfield Inn so that they can be retrieved after the museum’s closure. Lost and Found is
located at the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern and at the Flynt Center of Early New England Life.
FIRST AID
There will be a first aid station at the Flynt Center of Early New England Life.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Photography, video/audio taping, sketching are not permitted inside any museum buildings.
• Use of computer equipment and cellular telephones are not permitted when visitors are on a guided house
tour.
• Food and beverages are not permitted inside museum buildings. Visitors will be asked to leave any food
and beverages they have outside the museum building before entering.
• For the safety of museum collections, visitors are not permitted to touch museum objects.
• Please leave baby strollers and back carriers outside of museum houses. Unaccompanied children may not
enter museum buildings.
• Pets are welcome on leashes outdoors in the village, but not on the Channing Blake Footpath because of
its proximity to farm animals. No pets are allowed in any museum building, except licensed assistance dogs.
Please clean up after your pets.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please inquire with a staff member at the Hall Tavern Visitor Center or Flynt Center of Early New England Life
about wheelchair-accessible houses.
Restrooms with accessible facilities are located behind the Hall Tavern Visitor Center, at the Flynt Center of
Early New England Life, at the Deerfield Inn, and behind the Williams House.
EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
A staff photographer will be taking photos today to document the event and everyone who has participated. These photos may be used in printed publications, on social media and other promotional channels. If
you do not wish to be photographed today, please get a sticker from the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern or the
Flynt Center of Early New England Life so we know not to take your picture. Thanks for your help!
