Girl Guides SPCA Fundraiser, Mon 15th August Picton Guides will be doing their annual SPCA Cupcake Tea fundraiser. 6.30-7.30pm at St Josephs School, Otago St, Picton. Gold coin entry proceeds go to Marlborough SPCA. Picton Dawn Chorus Trap Setting, Tues 16th and Tues 23rd August PDC will be putting out their first batch of rat traps and it would be great to have as many hands as possible. Please come along to the Port Marlborough Pavilion at 10:30am on either (or both) these dates to help place the traps at the premarked locations along walking tracks on the Victoria Domain. They will then gather for some coffee/tea and cake at the Pavilion at 12:00 noon on 23rd August. Biosecurity Workshop 2025 Waikawa Hui, Thurs 18th August Join the conversation and make sure your views are heard. If you’re a farmer, grower, trader, producer, kaitiaki, gardener, walker, tramper, nature lover, or outdoor enthusiast…you have something at stake in New Zealand's biosecurity. Toasted Marshmallow Day, Fri 19th August Marlborough Youth Trust presents International Toasted Marshmallow Day for ages 13 to 18. Toast marshmallows and listen to some sweet sounds along with games, prizes and hot food for sale.
