Who We Are
Gina D’Amore, MAIG President, is a member of the Deaf community. She brings a unique
perspective as a consumer of interpreting and transcription services. Over the years, through her
community work, her graduate studies and in her personal life, Gina depends on highly qualified
interpreters. She understands the difficulties that can result from using unskilled practitioners. Gina
has dedicated herself to providing an alternative solution, a new resource for highly qualified,
ADA compliant professionals.
Nancy Bender, CI/CT co-founder of MAIG, is an experienced interpreter working in the
Baltimore/Washington DC metro area since 1996. While her foundation is in community and
mental health interpreting, Nancy specializes in highly technical, scientific and video settings.
She is a qualified mentor interpreter working with our local interpreter-training program, as well.
By combining our unique knowledge and skills, we offer quality-driven organization for your

transcription using the latest software applications. We provide onsite interpreting services.
We also offer Video Remote Interpreting when onsite interpreting solutions are not possible.
