Turn off the hot and cold water supply at the angle stops and turn on the old faucet to release any built up pressure. Remove existing faucet. Clean sink or countertop to remove any debris, plumber’s putty, or silicone • Place a bucket under angle stops. Turn on to flush any debris prior to installing new plumbing. Turn on angle stops and check for leaks. (DO NOT TURN FAUCET ON) * Grid Washer Installer tip: Make sure grid washer is installed at end of waterlines prior to installing Step 5 Remove sprayhead. Remove handle cap (3) 2. Loosen set screw (4) (DO NOT REMOVE) 3. Remove handle (5), unscrew cartridge cover (6) byAhand 4. Unscrew locking nut (7) with adjustable wrench 5. Remove cartridge (9) and wash with clean running water 6. Replace cartridge (if necessary) 5. HANDLE 7. LOCKING NUT 9. CARTRIDGE 6. CARTRIDGE COVER 4. SET SCREW 3.HANDLE CAP ALLEN KEY C - Shooting Trouble If you have followed the instructions carefully and your faucet still does not work properly, take the following corrective steps: PROBLEM CAUSE Water will not shut off completely Cartridge (9) may need to be adjusted, cleaned, or replaced Remove handle cap (3). Loosen set screw (4) with allen key. Remove handle (5). Unscrew cartridge cover (6) by hand. Unscrew locking nut (7) with an adjustable wrench. Remove cartridge (9). Check for cracks Sprayhead (1) may be loose or washer may not be seated correctly Tighten sprayhead (1) by hand until snug.
