The ground breaking new LightWave Diesel GT6 Jet Bike is a game changer in super yacht toys and accessories.
From the Abel Yachts team whose corporate goal is to build luxury yachts and yacht products, the new Diesel
GT6 is designed and built to international yacht standards for use on yachts. Powered by a 160hp diesel turbocharged engine, performance is comparable in terms of acceleration, top-end speed (40 + kn) and weight to a
petrol powered ski of similar rating.

The LightWave Diesel GT6 is styled by Andrew Langton
of Reymond Langton Design to be both beautiful and
functional. The hull is drawn by Ward Setzer of Setzer
desings. Built in carbon fibre the Diesel GT6 is expected
to weigh 325kg. The Abel Yachts Team understand the
limitations imposed by class and other rules on the
operation of petrol powered toys and storage of petrol
on board a yacht. The restriction on storage of the petrol
toys in an internal garage often results in the location of
toys on outside decks that yacht owners would prefer to
reserve for their own enjoyment. The constant need for
refuelling to operate petrol jet skis and other petrol toys
is a significant burden for yacht skippers and surveyors.

operation of yacht toys by guests in certain locations
has increased pressure on Skippers to maintain
control, particularly on charter yachts.
Optional upgrades include the latest technology in
enhanced safety including proximity and remote
control limiters to enable yacht crew to anticipate and
avoid hazards.
