JNU Row?
Desh Bachao
The violence against JNU students
and journalists allegedly by lawyers at Patiala House
Courts in the heart of the capital has turned the spotlight
back on the conduct of men in black who often hit headlines for
wrong reasons. What happened at Patiala House Courts during
this week is not an isolated incident of advocates venting their ire in
a manner that does not behove a profession that is dedicated to
upholding the rule of law.
Lawyers were at the forefront of India’s freedom struggle.
Mahatma Gandhi, Rajendra Prasad, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar
Patel, to name a few. Even today, lawyers are holding
prominent positions in the government at the Centre
and in various states.
Haryana: As violence spread to more areas in Haryana
over the Jat quota row, the district administrations on
Saturday clamped curfew in Sonipat city and Gohana
town of the district.
“Sonipat city and Gohana town have been brought under
curfew,” Sonipat’s Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Rattan
toldto media.
Curfew had already been clamped in Rohtak, Bhiwani
and Jhajjar towns in the wake of incidents of violence
during the Jat agitation.
Haryana Chief minister ML Khattar has made a fresh
appeal to the people to maintain peace and harmony.
“I appeal to all my fellow Haryanvis to maintain law &
order in the State, and ensure that harmony is maintained in society,” he tweeted.
Earlier in the day, violence escalated in different parts of
the state after a mob in Rohtak district’s Meham area set
a police station, a petrol pump and a government building on fire.
“The police station has been set on fire by a group of
about 2000-2500 people. They went on rampage today
and also set on fire a petrol pump, a government building and a banquet hall,” Rajender Singh, sub-inspector
and SHO of Meham police station, said.

Does Our CM has some value in Our Country or Not??
Honey Sehgal
Arvind Kejriwal (born 16 August
1968) is an Indian politician who is
the Chief Minister of Delhi since
February 2015. He previously
served as Chief Minister from
December 2013 to February 2014,
stepping down after 49 days. He is
the national convener of the Aam
Aadmi Party (AAP). His party won
the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections
with a majority, obtaining 67 out of
70 assembly seats.
Kejriwal is a mechanical engineering graduate of the Indian Institute
of Technology Kharagpur, and
worked for the Indian Revenue
Service (IRS) as a joint commissioner in the Income Tax
Department.
In 2006, Kejriwal was awarded the
Ramon Magsaysay Award for
Emergent Leadership recognising
his involvement in the grassroots
movement Parivartan using rightto-information legislation in a campaign against corruption. The
same year, after resigning from the
IRS, he donated his Magsaysay
award money as a corpus fund to
found the Public Cause Research
Foundation, a non-governmental
organisation (NGO).
In 2012, he launched the Aam
Aadmi Party, and the party won in
the 2013 Delhi Legislative
Assembly election. Following the
election, he took office as the
Chief Minister of Delhi on 28
December 2013. He resigned 49
days later, on 14 February 2014,
stating he did so because of his
minority government's inability to
pass his proposed anti-corruption
legislation due to a lack of support
from other political parties.
The two incidents which had took
place recently, proved that CM has
no value by the Citizens of the
Country.
Slapped By Citizen of Country
Arvind Kejriwal was slapped by a
man during a road show in
Sultanpuri area of north west Delhi
in second such attack in four days.
The AAP leader immediately held
BJP responsible for it. The man
identified as Lali, who is an
autorickshaw driver, first garlanded Kejriwal and then slapped him
following which the attacker was
thrashed by AAP supporters.
AAP leader Manish Sisodia tweeted that Kejriwal was injured in his
eye. Kejriwal's spectacles fell on
the ground following the attack.
The 38-year-old attacker, a resident of Aman Vihar in Outer Delhi,
has accused Kejriwal of not fulfilling promises made to the autodrivers. He was later detained by
the police. "I do not understand
why do some people resort to violence for becoming the Prime
Minister. If you think by attacking
us, we will keep quite then you are
wrong. We will fight this battle till
the last breath," Kejriwal said.

China accuses US for militarising sea
China says it does not intend to militarise the Nansha
Islands in the South China Sea, dismissing US accusations of raising tension in the region, the media reported
. Xi-Jinping-China-PresidentHong Lei, a spokesman for
China’s foreign affairs ministry, said on Friday that demilitarisation in the region is not a matter for just a single
country, the Global Times reported.
“There should not be double standards or multi-standards for demilitarisation in the South China Sea, and the
process requires joint efforts from countries in the region
and beyond,” he said.
According to reports, US State Department spokesman
John Kirby on Thursday said that commercial satellite
imagery suggested “very recent” placement of missiles
on Yongxing Island that went against China’s pledge not
to militarize the South China Sea.
In response to the accusation, Hong said the US is
strengthening military deployment in the South China
Sea and frequently sends military vessels or planes to
conduct close-in reconnaissance against China.
Islamic State beheads kid for listening to western music
In another case of brutality
out of the many it has
already committed in the
past, Islamic State has
beheaded a 15-year-old
child for merely listening to
western music at the grocery store of his father. The
incident happened on
Tuesday in Mosul – a
stronghold of ISIL.
“Ayham Hussein was captured by the jihadists while
listening to Pop music at
the grocery store of his
father in the Nabi Younis
marketplace in western
Mosul. He was referred to
the Sharia Court, which
issued a decision to execute him,” a spokesman for
the Nineveh media centre
was quoted as saying by
ARA News.
The boy was publicly
beheaded to spread a
message to others, a
source told ARA News.
After the execution, the
boy’s mortal remains were
handed over the family.
The incident has sparked
massive outrage in Mosul.
Meanwhile, in a separate
incident, two young men
were shot dead outside a
mosque in Mosul last
Friday for failing to attend
prayers. “The execution
took place after a member
of the Sharia Court read a
statement vowing anyone
who misses the prayers at
the mosque to face the
same punishment,” ARA
News quoted local activist
Abdulah al-Malla as saying.
Syrian Kurds used US-supplied weapons on civilians: Turkey prez
Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan said
US-supplied weapons had been used
against civilians by a Syrian Kurdish militia group that Ankara blames for a deadly
suicide bombing, and said he would talk to
President Barack Obama about it on.
US support for the Syrian Kurdish PYD,
which Washington considers a useful ally
in the fight against Islamic State, has
enraged Turkey and risks driving a wedge
between the Nato allies. Turkey sees the
group as a terrorist organisation linked to
Kurdish militants waging an insurgency on
its own soil.
Erdogan and the Turkish government
have said the PYD’s armed wing, the
YPG, was responsible for a suicide car
bomb attack in the administrative heart of
Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday,
which killed 28 people — most of them
soldiers.
Erdogan said he was saddened by the
West’s refusal to call the PYD and YPG a
terrorist group and would explain to
Obama how weapons provided by the
United States had aided them.
“I will tell him, look at how and where
those weapons you provided were fired,”
he told reporters in Istanbul.
“Months ago in my meeting with him
(Obama), I told him the US was supplying
weapons. Three plane loads arrived, half
of them ended up in the hands of Daesh
(Islamic State), and half of them in the
hands of the PYD,” he said.
“Against whom were these weapons
used? They were used against civilians
there and caused their deaths.”
He appeared to be referring to a US air
drop of 28 bundles of military supplies in
late 2014 meant for Iraqi Kurdish fighters
near the Syrian city of Kobani. Pentagon
officials said at the time one had fallen
into the hands of Islamic State. The
Pentagon later said it had targeted the
missing bundle in an air strike and
destroyed it.
Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu
accused the United States of making conflicting statements about the Syrian
Kurdish militia.
He said US secretary of state John Kerry
had told him the Kurdish insurgents could
not be trusted, in what Cavusoglu said
was a departure from Washington’s official position.
The United States has said it does not
consider the YPG a terrorist group. A
spokesperson for the State Department
said on Thursday Washington was not in
a position to confirm or deny Turkey’s
charge the YPG was behind the Ankara
bombing. The spokesperson also called
on Turkey to stop its recent shelling of the
YPG. The YPG’s political arm has denied
the group was behind the Ankara attack
and said Turkey was using it to justify an
escalation in fighting in northern Syria.
Fighting at UN compound in South Sudan kills 18 people
Fighting at a United Nations compound sheltering people
fleeing conflict in South Sudan has killed 18 people,
including two Medicins Sans Frontieres workers, the
international medical aid group said.
South Sudan descended into civil war in December 2013
when a row between President Salva Kiir and his sacked
deputy Riek Machar ended with fighting that often
occurred along ethnic fault lines.
People have been taking refuge in UN-administered
“protection of civilian” sites, or POCs, since 2013.
Thousands have been killed and more than 2 million
people displaced from their homes since late 2013.
The UN peacekeeping mission, UNMISS, had said on
Thursday fighting the night before between youths sheltering in the UN compound in Malakal had killed five and
wounded 30 after violence erupted between two ethnic
groups.
Pakistan lodges FIR

at Gujranwala in Punjab

Kissa Supari ka on SAB TV’s Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle Moon Banerjee roped in for Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi
cnp bureau
Delhi: Nathu will face a unique problem in
the upcoming track of SAB TV’s latest rom
com offering Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle.
With every passing day the competition to
woo Dr. Diya (Krishna Gokani) is getting
tougher and both Ranbeer (Ather Habib)
and Nathu (Ali Asgar) are using all their
brawn and brain to win over her attention.
Nathu’s sidekick Babloo who is worried
about the business going into losses since
Nathu has moved bag and baggage to the
hospital decides to operate from the hospital itself. After much contemplation he
writes a note to him and throws it in
Nathu’s ward. The message reads – ‘15
lac ki supari aayi hai Shaadi lal ki, leni hai
ya nahi?’ This note with the message
written on it reaches Ranbeer, who now
decides to expose Nathu in front of Diya.
Diya misunderstands ‘Supari’ to gangster’s supari and thinks that Nathu is
involved in crime and immediately asks
Nathu to vacate the hospital as she hates
liars and goons. Nathu is devastated and
has no explanation to offer to Diya. On the
other hand Ranbeer is excited as he
believes the competition is eliminated with
Nathu out of the race.

on the Tumakuru-Bengaluru road. Biker Makes A

To Donate His Organs
True Hero. Harish was Killed in an Horrific
Accident
In the minutes before he died, a young man urged
that his eyes be donated, a plea that has moved
thousands of people who are sharing his story on
Facebook. Harish Nanjappa, 23, was riding his
motorcycle back to Bengaluru after a brief visit to
his village when he was hit by a truck with such
force that his body was split into two. For 20 minutes "he begged for help as passersby gathered
around, taking photographs .
"He reportedly not just screamed for help but also
asked people 'to donate his organs'," A man, whose
body was severed in two after a truck ran over him,
surprised everybody with his presence of mind and
large heartedness. He reportedly not just screamed
for help but also asked people ‘to donate his
organs’. The horrific accident occurred on the State
Highway in Nelamangala on Tuesday morning. The
victim is Harish N. (23), who was an employee of
SSMS Private Limited (Whitefield). He had gone to
his village in Tumakuru in connection with the gram
panchayat elections and was returning to office in

occurred. The accident took place at
Thippagondanahalli, a lorry carrying sugar bags,
tried to overtake his bike. Nelamangala Rural police
told media persons that the lorry accidentally
touched the bike, causing Harish to lose his balance. He fell under the wheels of the lorry and his
body was severed.
For a few minutes, he lay on the highway, pleading
for help even as passers-by watched in horror.
Some passersby informed the police who rushed
him to a hospital.
“Ambulances reached Harish in about 8 minutes
after the accident was reported. He was alive when
he was rushed to the nearest government hospital.
A few minutes after reaching there, he passed
away,” DySP Rajendra Kumar A B ,told reporters.

his injuries within minutes of being taken to a hospital. The doctors harvested his eyes and donated
these to a hospital. Harish had gone to his home

when the mishap occurred. On NH-4, a truck tried
to overtake Harish’s Bajaj Pulsar. However, the
vehicle touched against the motorbike throwing
Harish under the wheels of the truck. The lower half
of his body was thrown a few feet away. For a few
minutes, he lay on the highway, pleading for help
even as vehicles passed by. Some passers-by
informed cops who called for an ambulance. In the
meantime, Jas Toll Company, which manages a
stretch of the highway, sent an ambulance.
"Dr Bhujang Shetty of Narayana Netralaya was
deeply moved by Harish’s gesture"

Budget must unleash growth potential of MSMEs and focus demand
cnp bureau
Delhi: The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)
segment has immense potential to play a significant role
to push India’s growth in strong and sustainable growth
trajectory, said Dr. Mahesh Gupta, President, PHD
Chamber.
MSMEs must be facilitated in terms of their credit
demand, enhanced scope for capital requirements, availability of land and labour and ease of doing business in
the Budget 2016-17.
Budget must focus on reforms for improvement in the
four factors of production including land, labour, capital
and entrepreneurship to bolster industrialisation in the
country, added Dr. Gupta.
The time is most opportune to generate demand in the
economy vis-à-vis significant decline in the costs of raw
materials and to absorb a major chunk of skilled and
unskilled labour in the productive sectors of the economy, said Dr. Mahesh Gupta. Facilitation to housing &
construction sector is expected to generate employment
opportunities in the economy and a rebound in the
demand scenario. Budget 2016-17 must provide tax
incentives to home buyers to reduce the burden of EMIs.
Deduction of up to Rs 5 lakh can be made from the current level of Rs. 2 lakhs for interest paid on a home loan
on a self-occupied house. Decelerating prices of international commodities such as crude oil, steel and cement
can be capitalized to give a boost to the construction
sector and to build a strong India. We look forward to the
timely implementation of GST and are enthusiastic to
see a common market in India which will reduce the
transaction costs and cascading impact of complex tax
structure. He added that the implementation of GST will
improve the economic growth trajectory with a significant
improvement in ease of doing business and enhanced
employment opportunities.
