How to register online for Pearson Edexcel International
GCSE, GCE & International A Level (IAL) exams
May-June 2016 session?
Step 1.
Log on to www.britishcouncil.org.bd
Step 2.
Click on ‘Register for Pearson Edexcel exams’
Step 3.

2) Make sure that you have your valid passport ready– you will need it to fill up your
application.
Follow the step by step instructions to complete your registration. Please select your desired
qualification level. If you have more than one (e.g. Int. GCSE and IAL), then select the
appropriate ones (e.g. select both Int. GCSE and IAL).
Step 4.
Print out your completed registration form and sign it.
Step 5.
If you are a school candidate: your form must be signed by your school. (Principal, Vice
Principal, School Administrator)
Step 6.
Your registration from will tell you how much your fees are. Please make the payment at any
of the following branches of Standard Chartered
branches.
You can also pay your exams fees online through Standard Chartered Bank’s Online Banking Service.
For Online/Internet Banking service, please visit www.sc.com/bd. After successful payment, do not
forget to take a printout of your payment reference and attach it with your registration form.
Step 7.
Attach:
1) Clear photocopy of your valid passport (pages showing personal identification details
and expiry date)
2) Three recent passport size photographs
3) The deposit slip (British Council copy) to your form
If you have appeared for any International GCSE/A Level exams before, please attach a copy
of your statement of entry or result sheet.
Step 8.
If you are a school candidate: submit your form to your respective school.
If you are private candidate: submit your form to the following branches of Standard

How to take a reprint of the form:
• Select “Apply for Amendment or Reprint”.
• Enter your form number and passport number.
• Click “get form” & click print option to take the print out.
If you wish to change your subject or information details:
• If you want to change any information including your personal details or subject
details please fill out the “Apply for Amendment or Reprint” via online.
• You are not allowed to do duplicate registration.
Late Registration:
• Late registration (via online) can be done from 27 March 2016 to 05 April 2016
and will have to be submitted to the British Council, 5 Fuller Road office or Standard
Chartered
branches by the same deadline. Please note, any candidates
registering for Late Entry have to pay Late Entry fee.
Special Needs
• If you suffer from a disability which might affect your performance in an examination,
you should draw this to the attention of the examination centre at the time you
submit your registration form. Medical certificates or evidences must be provided
where appropriate.
Statement of Entry information:
Your Statement of Entry will be sent to your address in the third week of April 2016.
Please contact us if you do not receive it by 30 April 2016.
Results information:
Results for May-June 2016 session are expected to be available on 18 August 2016 for
A Level and 25 August 2016 for International GCSE at www.britishcouncil.org.bd.
