Sessions
Incoming and existing students are welcome to attend.
Prepare for the Math Section of the TSI Assessment
Sessions will emphasize adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, integers,
fractions, and decimals, ratios, proportions and a variety of beginning algebra concepts. We conveniently
offer morning, and afternoon sessions.
Each session we meet, you will experience two different modes of instruction:
1) a lecture setting where Instructional Associates will review major topics, lead you through examples
and answer questions and 2) a collaborative study setting where you will work through a variety of
problems with other students and tutors in small groups. You will also have the opportunity to review
topics online from home using Khan Academy.
