Mothers can touch and maintain eye contact with their babies while singing. Let’s Enjoy Japanese! – Japanese Story Hour [ Country of focus ] This programme by the International Library of Children’s Literature is suitable for children who do not understand Japanese. It features well-known picture books of Japanese nursery rhymes and other stories with lots of onomatopoeia. Read and Sing with Yasunari Murakami [ Ac tivity ] This is a special session of storytelling and sing-along by famous children’s book illustrator Yasunari Murakami. Come meet and chat with the authors, artists, and translators participating from Japan! Closetful of Books is a specialist children’s bookseller started by Denise Tan and Kelvin Ng. They grew up accompanied by magical stories, and continue to believe in the power of reading for pleasure.
