1. Keine direkte Verschraubung
RELAZZO Dielen und Unterkonstruktion dürfen nicht direkt verschraubt werden.
Ausnahme ist die Verschraubung des Befestigungswinkels und der
Befestigungsplatte mit RELAZZO edge.
1. No direct screw connections
RELAZZO boards and the substructure must not be screwed directly
to one another.
Only the RELAZZO edge board may have screw fixings applied directly
into it when used in conjunction with the RELAZZO edge fixing angle
and strip.
2. Verlegerichtung beachten
Auf eine gleichmäßige Verlegung der Dielen in Bürstrichtung
(gedruckter Pfeil auf der Diele, 2 Riefen in der Hohlkammer oder beim
Vollprofil auf der Außenseite) ist zu achten.

2. Allow for the installation direction
Ensure level installation of the boards in the brushing direction (arrow
printed onto board, 2 stripes in the hollow chamber or on the exterior
of the solid profile).
3. Gefälle
Ein Gefälle von mindestens 1% (10mm/lfm) ist einzuhalten um Wasserflecken und Staunässe zu vermeiden. Weiters fördert das Gefälle
den natürlichen Abtransport von Schmutz durch Regen und erhält
dadurch die hohe Rutschfestigkeit der RELAZZO Dielen aufrecht.

3. Gradient
A minimum gradient of 1% (10 mm/rnm) is to be observed in order to
prevent water stains and water logging. In addition to this, the gradient
ensures that the natural flow of surface water also removes dirt and
preserves the slip resistance of RELAZZO boards.

4. Vorbohren und Verschrauben
Um den optimalen Ausziehwiderstand der Schraube in dem Material
zu erreichen ist jedes Loch vorzubohren. Es ist ein niedriges Drehmoment beim Einschrauben zu wählen um die Schraube nicht zu
überdrehen.
4. Pilot holes and screw fixing
To ensure optimum pull-out performances of screw fixings in the
material, pre-drill a pilot hole. Use a low torque setting so as not to
over-tighten screw fixings.

5. Dehnfugen beachten
WPC-Terrassendielen unterliegen einer natürlichen Ausdehnung.
Es ist daher zwischen jeder Diele sowie jeder Unterkonstruktion
eine ausreichende Dehnfuge einzuplanen.
5. Allow for expansion joints
WPC decking boards experience natural expansion.
A sufficiently large expansion joint is therefore to be allowed for
between every board and also every substructure.
6. Be- und Hinterlüftung
Um ein schnelles Abtrocknen der Materialien unter den Dielen sowie
der Dielenunterseite zu gewährleisten, sind die vorgegebenen Mindestabstände unbedingt einzuhalten. Staunässe ist zu vermeiden.
Bei Verwendung der Fugenprofile ist der Abstand zwischen Untergrund und Dielenunterkante auf mindestens 10 cm zu erhöhen.
Besonders in diesem Fall sind die Mindestabstände zu festen
Bauteilen einzuhalten bzw. zu erhöhen um eine ausreichende Beund Hinterlüftung zu gewährleisten.
Der Freiraum zwischen Untergrund und Diele darf nicht verfüllt
werden.
6. Air gaps and ventilation
In order to ensure quick drying of the substructure materials as well
as the deck underside, the specified minimum clearances must be
observed. Water logging is to be prevented.
When using jointing profiles, the gap between the ground and the
board underside is to be increased to a minimum of 10 cm.
In particular in this case, it is essential that the minimum clearances
to fixed elements are maintained or increased in order to ensure
sufficient ventilation.
The clearance between the ground and the board must not be
backfilled.
7. Dokumentation der Verlegung
Für spätere Änderungen, zur Dokumentation der Bodenausführung
und der Verlegeabstände sowie allgemein zum Nachweis der
Einhaltung dieser Verlegeanleitung wird empfohlen, die Terrasse
während der Verlegung der Unterkonstruktion und unmittelbar nach
Fertigstellung zu photographieren und die Bilder als Bestandteil des
Übergabeprotokolls zu dokumentieren.
7. Documentation of the installation
For subsequent changes, documentation of the floor design and the
installation spacing as well as general proof of compliance with this
installation guide, it is recommended that the decking is photographed
during installation of the substructure and immediately following
completion, and that the photographs are used as part of the transfer
record.
8. Keine Verwendung für freitragende konstruktive Zwecke
Das WPC Profil RELAZZO und die Unterkonstruktion sind speziell
für die Nutzung als Terrassenbelag entwickelt worden. Die Produkte
haben keine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung und sind aus diesem Grund
nicht für freitragende, konstruktive Zwecke zu verwenden.
Die lokalen Bauvorschriften sind entsprechend zu beachten.
8. Not to be used for self-supporting, structural purposes
The RELAZZO WPC profile and the substructure have been specially
developed for use as decking. The products do not have building
authority approval and for this reason should not be used for
selfsupporting, structural purposes.
The local building regulations are to be observed accordingly.
9. Farbentwicklung
Da es sich bei RELAZZO um ein natürliches Produkt aus dem Rohstoff
Holz handelt, können Abweichungen in Farbe auftreten. Nach der
Verlegung im Freien beginnt die Farbe sich zu harmonisieren. Zur
Erzielung eines natürlichen Effekts empfiehlt es sich, die Dielen vor
der Verlegung zu mischen.
9. Colour development
As RELAZZO is a natural product made of the raw material wood,
colour variations may occur. The colours start harmonising after
outdoor installation. It is recommended to mix the boards prior to
installation to achieve a natural effect.
10. Sicherheitshinweise
Die hier gegebenen Hinweise und Empfehlungen entbinden den Verarbeiter nicht, alle geltenden Sicherheits-, und Umweltvorschriften sowie
die Vorschriften der Gewerbeaufsicht und Berufsgenossenschaft strikt
einzuhalten, da diese immer vorrangig sind.
Die Sicherheitsvorschriften der eingesetzten Klebstoffe sind zu
beachten und unbedingt einzuhalten.
Ergänzende Arbeitsmittel wie z. B. alkoholische Reiniger und andere
leicht entzündliche Materialien sollen nur an einem sicheren und gut
belüfteten Ort aufbewahrt werden.
Sicherheitsausstattung wie Handschuhe, Schutzbrille, Gehörschutz
und Staubmaske sind immer zu verwenden.
10. Safety information
The information and recommendations given here do not release the
fabricator from strictly complying with all of the applicable safety and
environmental regulations as well as the regulations of the industrial
inspectorate and professional organisations, as these always take
precedence.
The safety regulations for the adhesives used are binding.
Supplementary work equipment such as e.g. alcohol-based cleaners
and other highly flammable materials should only be stored in a safe
and well-ventilated place.
Safety equipment such as gloves, safety goggles, ear protection and
dust masks are always to be used.

RELAZZO decking hat keine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung für freitragende, konstruktive Zwecke. Eine Ausführung auf Balkonen
oder Stegen ist nur nach Freigabe eines Statikers bei ausreichend
statischem Untergrund (z.B. Stahlgitter) unter Berücksichtigung der
örtlichen Bauvorschriften zulässig.
1. Load-bearing components floor construction
RELAZZO decking does not have building authority approval for selfsupporting, structural purposes. Construction on balconies or bridges
is only permitted following the approval of a structural engineer in the
case of a sufficiently static subsurface (e.g. steel mesh) taking into
account the local building regulations.

2. Bodenaufbau Gras/Erde
Ohne frostsichere oder wasser- und unterspülsichere Ausführung
des Untergrundes und Ausführung durch einen Fachbetrieb ist eine
Verlegung auf Erde oder Gras aufgrund von Bodensetzungen nicht

Without a frost-proof or water and erosion-proof construction of the
subsurface and construction by a specialist company, installation on
soil or grass is not permitted due to ground settlement.

des Untergrundes und Ausführung durch einen Fachbetrieb ist eine
Verlegung auf Sand aufgrund von Bodensetzungen nicht zulässig.

sand is not permitted due to ground settlement.

Garantieleistung übernommen werden.

Flachdaches sind zu beachten.
Die Ausführung obliegt einem Fachbetrieb Ihrer Wahl.

Garantieleistung übernommen werden.
Es ist sicherzustellen, dass der Untergrund (z.B. Dämmung) in Folge
von auftretenden Belastungen nicht nachgeben kann.

roofs are to be observed.
The construction is to be carried out by a specialist company of your

REHAU cannot provide a warranty for the construction of flat roofs.
Please ensure that the foundation (e.g. damping) does not buckle due
to potential loads.

The substructure is to be fixed to the concrete slab with fixing

screw. Uneveness of the slab is to be catered for using rubber pads.

rubber pads, slabs (blocks, paving stones) or adjustable feet
are to be used to prevent water logging.

Verbindungsplatte herzustellen. Dieser Rahmen ist mit Gummiunterlagen oder Justierfüßen von der Entwässerungsfolie abzuheben. Die
Verschraubung der Unterkonstruktion mittels Montagewinkel nach
unten ist verboten.
Beschwerungen/Befestigungen gegen auftretende Windlasten sind
mit einem Fachmann abzustimmen.

Construction on a flat roof
Fabricate a frame using substructure, fixing brackets and joining
plates. This frame is to be raised off the drainage membrane using
rubber pads or adjustable feet. It is forbidden to fix down the frame to
the surface with fixing brackets.
Weights/fastenings to prevent movement under wind loading must be
confirmed by a structural engineer.
Any damage to the flat roof membrane is to be ruled out!

Bei Verwendung des Fugenschlauches oder der Fugenabdeckung ist der Abstand zwischen Untergrund und Dielenunterkante auf
mindestens 100 mm zu erhöhen. Besonders in diesem Fall sind die Mindestabstände zu festen Bauteilen einzuhalten bzw. zu erhöhen
um eine ausreichende Be- und Hinterlüftung zu gewährleisten. Der Freiraum zwischen Untergrund und Diele darf nicht verfüllt werden.
When using joint filler profiles or a joint cover, the clearance between the ground and the board underside is to be increased to a
minimum of 100 mm. In particular in this case, it is essential that the minimum clearances to fixed elements are maintained or increased
in order to ensure sufficient ventilation. The clearance between the ground and the board must not be backfilled.
