CONVEYORS
For the feed to and from machinery included in your automation
project, Viscon supplies conveyors which can be finely tuned to
virtually any product. The range of conveyors that Viscon can offer
comes in a variety of widths which vary from 200 up to 3.000 mm, the
variety on offer include plastic chain belt, chain conveyors fitted with a sprocket
or a flexible plastic chain, chain conveyors for pallets, flexible plastic slat band
conveyors, driven, accumulating and gravity roller conveyors, curved conveyors,
spiral conveyors, trough type conveyors, bucket elevators and several types of
‘walking beams’ for trolleys. When necessary, Viscon will look at the integration
of their conveyor systems to form an automated system solution incorporating
‘loose’ products, racking and trolleys, etc.

Voor de aan- en afvoer naar en van de in uw automatiseringsproject
opgenomen machines levert Viscon transporteurs die afgestemd kunnen worden op vrijwel alle producten. De standaard transporteurs uit
het leveringspakket van Viscon zijn als volgt; diverse bandtransporteurs met breedtes van 200 tot 3.000 mm, transporteurs voorzien van kunststof
schakelband, kettingbanen voorzien van schalmen of kunststof ketting, palletkettingbanen, flexibele kunststof lamellentransporteurs, aangedreven, accumulerende en zwaartekrachtrollenbanen, palletrollenbanen, rondtransporteurs,
spiraaltransporteurs, trogbanden, bekerelevatoren, en diverse soorten ‘walking
beams’ voor transportwagens. Indien nodig kunnen bovenstaande transporteurs aangepast worden aan speciale producten zoals ‘losse’ producten, rekken,
transportwagens, etc.
FÖRDERER
Für den An- und Abtransport zu und von den in Ihrem Automatisierungs- project aufgenommenen Maschinen, liefert Viscon Förderer, die
auf nahezu alle Produkte abgestimmt werden können. Die Standardförderer aus dem Lieferungspaket von Viscon sind wie folgt: diverse
Bandförderer mit einer Breite von 200 bis 3.000 mm, Schaltbandförderer aus
Kunststoff, Kettenbahnen versehen mit Glieder- oder Kunststoffketten, Palettenkettenbahnen, flexible Lamellenförderer aus Kunststoff, angetriebene-, akkumulierende- und Schwerkraftrollenbahnen, Palettenrollenbahnen, Rundförderer, Spiralförderer, Trogbänder, Becherelevatoren und unterschiedliche Sorten
von ‘Walking Beams’ für Transportwagen. Oben genannte Förderer können, falls
notwendig, an spezielle Produkte wie ‘lose’ Produkte, Regale, Transportwagen

STACKING AND DE-STACKING SYSTEMS
Viscon’s stacking and de-stacking systems are available for a whole
variety of uses. For example, stacking/de-stacking for crates and
trays, wooden pallets, boxes, buckets, punnets, cardboard sheets,
steel racks, pallet bins, vacuum and polystyrene trays. The type of
machine required is determined by the product and by the capacity required. The
machine can be manufactured in single or multiple formats to cope with
product outputs of over 3000 products per hour.

Viscon op- en ontstapelsystemen zijn te verkrijgen in een groot aantal uitvoeringen. Zo zijn er op- en ontstapelsystemen voor kratten,
houten kisten, dozen, emmers, schaaltjes, vellen karton, stalen rekken,
pallets, vacuüm en polystyreen trays. De keuze van het juiste op en ontstapelsysteem wordt onder andere bepaald door de capaciteit en het product. Zo zijn
er naast enkelvoudige systemen voor kratten ook twee, drie en meervoudige
systemen verkrijgbaar, waarbij capaciteiten haalbaar zijn van meer dan 3000
producten per uur.

Die Stapel- und Entstapelsysteme von Viscon sind in einer großen

Viscon’s palletising and de-palletising units are able to process a large variety of products. There are for
instance palletising and de-palletising units for boxes, crates, various types of trays and virtually any product of a
rectangular design. The choice of the correct palletising and the palletising unit depends on the capacity,
stacking patterns, pallet formats and the stability of the product. These units can be integrated with pallet
strapping or wrapping units. Depending on the product, the palletising and de-palletising units for crates and some boxes
can be supplied as ‘semi’ or fully automatic models.

PALLET WRAPPING AND STRAPPING MACHINES
To provide stability for pallets during transport and storage,
Viscon supplies both horizontal pallet strapping machines as well
as stretch foil wrapping machines. The pallet strapping machine
can provide the pallet with one or more straps and comes with
the option of a corner board dispenser. The machine can be supplied in
semi-automatic as well as fully automatic mode. The stretch foil wrapping
machine comes in a variety of styles for pallets, which have been stacked
in either a stable or unstable manner. This machine can also be supplied in
semi-automatic as well as fully automatic mode.

Um Produkten auf einer Palette sowohl zum Transport als auch
zur Lagerung ausreichende Stabilität zu geben hat Viscon sowohl
horizontale Paletten-Umschnürungsmaschinen als auch Stretchfolienwickelmaschinen in ihrem Lieferpaket. Die Paletten-Umschnürungsmaschine eignet sich dazu, eine oder mehrere Umschnürungen
pro Palette durchzuführen und kann als Option mit Eckprofile-Spendern
ausgeführt werden. Die Maschine ist sowohl in halbautomatischer als auch
in vollautomatischer Ausführung erhältlich. Die Stretchfolienwickelmaschine ist für sowohl stabile als auch unstabile Ladungen in verschiedenen

Viscon supplies various automated warehouse systems for the storage, grading and dispatching of goods. Thanks to it’s extensive and
modular structured product range, Viscon is capable of supplying a
concept for practically every logistical challenge. The range of products
this applies to varies from boxes to crates (and stacks of), to pallets and similar
size products. Together with other systems from Viscon, stand alone storage
systems can be integrated into larger concepts to achieve custom made
solutions for each client. Software (VLC) that has been specifically
designed for these systems, serves the client with many functions and options.
These include an intelligent storage location indentifier based in the input and
output frequency of the goods, automatic pre-sorting of orders, tracking and
tracing and replenishment.
MAGAZIJNSYSTEMEN
Voor het opslaan, sorteren en uitslaan van producten levert

WEIGHING SYSTEMS
Viscon not only supplies a variety of weighing systems from
selected manufacturers, like desk top scales, floor scales and belt weigh
systems, but also check weighing systems (with or without metal
detectors), which can be part of a production line as well as an “end of
line” weigh unit for packed and unpacked products. Additionally, Viscon supplies
Linear weighing units and units for special applications.

When packing for example bakery products, fruits, vegetables, meat
and fish, Viscon supplies several types of packaging machines. To
provide the correct type of product packaging, there is the choice of

also offers machinery for large and speciality pack requirements or for products

To pack goods into their final package, Viscon supplies various
case-packers for a wide range of products. There are standard casepackers for packed product (that has been packed in stretch film, been
flow-wrapped or lidded), case-packers for single products in a bag or
net package and case-packers for bread and bakery products. Besides these
standard case-packers there are also systems for block packaging and bigger
final packages. Other products that are not mentioned can often be packed

SORTING SYSTEMS
Viscon’s sorting systems can sort various products by code, weight, shape, size, colour and quality. The sorting
can take place by means of camera technology, weighing systems or by help from transponders and barcode
labels. As well as the extensive possibilities of these systems, Viscon can also supply bespoke sorting machinery
for specific products. Camera systems can also be used for other purposes such as counting, assembly control,
product identification and location of randomly positioned products.

SORTEERSYSTEMEN
Viscon sorteersystemen kunnen diverse producten sorteren op code, gewicht, vorm, grootte, kleur en kwaliteit.
Het sorteren kan geschieden door middel van cameratechnieken en weegsystemen of met behulp van transponders en barcodelabels. Naast de uitgebreide mogelijkheden van deze systemen bevat ons leveringspakket
ook sorteermachines voor specifieke producten. Tevens kunnen camerasystemen gebruikt worden voor andere

processing lines. Viscon supplies box making machines for
American boxes, self carrying open boxes and display boxes. Depending

The cleaning of product carriers is a crucial part within the Viscon projects to guarantee an optimal hygienic
production process. Based on experience, the use of new ideas, methods and techniques a product range is
developed to make perfect cleaning possible. The design combines this cleaning performance with a simple and
predictable machine to operate, to service and to maintain, all at minimum costs. The washing machines are
available in different configurations and can be expanded with a variety of filter systems, drying systems, several options as
well as automated loading and unloading systems.

ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY
Industrial robots are used for handling a great variety of products for
complex and/or precise processes that are hard to realize by means
of conventional machines. Examples of application include: pick &
place systems, palletization and depalletization of various products,
order picking, case packing, loading and unloading of trolleys and other product
carriers, etc. An important part of the robot is the design of the right gripper
or pick-up tool. The right design will enable several kinds of products to be
handled, thus enhancing the installation’s efficiency and flexibility while
reducing investment. For example, one single gripper that makes it possible to
pick up cartons, crates, interlays, and pallets.

om dozen, kratten, tussenlegvellen en pallets op te pakken.

Industrielle Roboter kommen zum Handling unterschiedlichster Produkte für komplexe und/oder präzise Prozesse, die sich mit konventionellen Maschinen nur schwer durchführen lassen, zur Anwendung. Anwendungsbeispiele sind u.a.: Pick & Place-Systeme, Depalettieren und
Palettieren verschiedener Produkte, Order-Picking, Case-Packing und Beladen
und Entladen von Transportwagen und anderen Produktträgern usw. Ein wichtiger Teil des Roboters ist die Konstruktion des richtigen Greifers oder Aufnahmegerätes. Mit der richtigen Konstruktion lassen sich mehrere Produkte handeln,
wodurch Effizienz und Flexibilität der Anlage vergrößert und die Investition verringert werden. Dabei ist zum Beispiel an einen einzigen Greifer zu denken, der
die Möglichkeit hat, Kartons, Kästen, Zwischenblätter und Paletten anzuheben.

CODING AND IDENTIFICATION EQUIPMENT
Coding and identification systems are key to any production line.
Products equipped with a bar code or transponder can easily be
recognised and processed by identification systems. Transponders
are code carriers fitted with microchips that can be read and (re)
programmed by special equipment. When products are not fitted with a code
carrier they could identified using a camera system. Identification technology can
be applied to numerous logistical processes. Viscon’s coding knowledge provides
systems that can give information to a product, e.g. label dispenser/applicators,
bar code labelling machines, ink jet equipment, weigh/price labelling machines
etc.

Onmisbaar in een productielijn zijn vaak de codeer- en/of identificatiesystemen. Producten voorzien van een barcode of transponder
kunnen door identificatiesystemen worden herkend en verwerkt.
Transponders zijn codedragers waarin microchips zijn verwerkt die
door speciale apparatuur kunnen worden gelezen en ge(her)programmeerd.
Wanneer producten niet voorzien zijn van codedragers kan men deze ook identificeren met behulp van camera-systemen. Idententificatietechniek wordt
toegepast in talrijke logistieke processen. Onder codeerapparatuur verstaan wij
systemen die informatie aan een product kunnen meegeven: etikettendispensers, barcode-etiketteerders, inktjetapparatuur, weeg/prijs-labellers etc.

In einer Produktionslinie sind Kodier- und/oder Identifizierungssysteme oft unentbehrlich. Produkte die mit einem Barcode oder
Transponder versehen sind, können durch Identifikationssysteme
erkannt und verarbeitet werden. Transponder sind Kode-Träger, in denen
Microchips verarbeitet sind, die durch spezielle Apparatur gelesen und (wieder-)
programmiert werden können. Wenn Produkte nicht mit einem Kode-Träger
versehen sind, kann man die Produkte auch mit Hilfe von Kamera-Systemen
identifizieren. In zahlreichen logistischen Prozessen wird die Identifizierungstechnologie angewandt. Unter Kodierungsapparatur verstehen wir Systeme, die
Informationen an ein Produkt mitgeben können: Etikettierer, Barcode-Etikettierer, Tintenstrahlapparatur, Wiege/Preis-Etikettiermaschinen, usw.

sont indispensables. Les produits équipés d’un code barre ou d’un
identificateur électronique (RFID) peuvent être facilement reconnus et
traités par nos systèmes d’ídentification. D’autres produits non équipés de code de transmission peuvent être identifiés par un système de caméra.

and integrated by Viscon according to the wishes and demands of our customers. This product is named Viscon
Logistic Control (VLC) and can be linked to existing software systems of our clients. This can add functions such
as visualisation, priority, tracebility and warehouse control. When using a VLC system, you can reach maximum
possibilities, capacities and flexibility which will provide a more efficient process.
