Jury members wanted
After completion of the registration of the national culinary
teams, junior national culinary teams and teams
competing for the GV-Award, preparations continue to
progress in leaps and bounds. Apart from the competition
participants, the jury members also play an important role
in the IKA/Culinary Olympics. They decide about medals
and titles and identify the culinary trends of the coming
years. With expertise, jury experience and a good palate,
they will go on a quest for the Olympic winners in the
respective category. As always we will have a diverse
international jury. Soon we will inform the participating
countries to present the jury. We are looking forward to all
participants and a fair competition.
Juryamt zu vergeben
Nachdem die Anmeldung für National- und
Jugendmannschaften sowie GV-Teams abgeschlossen ist,
geht es mit großen Schritten weiter. Neben den
Wettbewerbsteilnehmern spielen die Juroren eine
bedeutende Rolle bei der IKA/Olympiade der Köche. Sie
entscheiden über Medaillen und Titel und finden die
kulinarischen Trends der kommenden Jahre. Mit
Fachwissen, Juryerfahrung und Geschmack begeben sie
sich auf die Suche nach den Olympiasiegern der jeweiligen
Kategorie. Wie immer werden wir die Jury vielfältig und
international besetzen. In Kürze werden die teilnehmenden
Länder angeschrieben, um ihnen unsere Juryauswahl zu
präsentieren. Wir freuen uns auf die Kolleginnen und
Kollegen und auf einen fairen Wettbewerb.

During the IKA/Culinary Olympics 2016 one of the mottoes

To the top with cheesecake
Thanks to the sponsor Nestlé Professional, we were able to
secure the support of Lars Riedel, 5-time discus throwing
world champion and Olympic winner in Atlanta/USA as an
ambassador for the IKA/Culinary Olympics. The sports
superstar will make his first appearance during the
competition draw on 21st October 2015. His recipe for
success: To eat a piece of cheesecake before the
competition. This has always helped Lars Riedel to make
the perfect throw.
Mit Käsekuchen zum Sieg
Lars Riedel, fünfmaliger Diskusweltmeister und
Olympiasieger von Atlanta/USA konnte dank Sponsor

der Köche 2016 gewonnen werden. Erster Auftritt des
sportlichen Superstars wird die Auslosung der
Wettkampftage am 21. Oktober 2015 sein. Sein Tipp zum
