The SFB 475 mourns the loss of Ingo Wegener * 04.12.1950 † 26.11.2008.
Professor Wegener was widely recognised as a researcher of the utmost international
reputation. His kind and unassuming personality will be missed by both, colleagues and
students.

Ursula Gather (A1, C4, T1), was voted rector of TU Dortmund University and took up her
work on September 1, 2008. She will remain director of SFB 475 until July 2009.
