Our original candy kitchen, a nostalgic replica of a red
schoolhouse, opened in 1975 in the picturesque village
of Long Grove, IL. We quickly outgrew the premises due
to the popularity of the delicious candy and the magic of
watching it being made.
Today the schoolhouse is still home to our vibrant retail
store but production has moved to a beautiful state-of-theart facility in nearby Buffalo Grove. We've expanded our
product line, opened a large outlet store and created the
famous Chocolate Factory Tour. We invite you to come see
the dazzling array of products, smell the sweet buttery caramel and taste the rich chocolate.
Long Grove Confectionery is a leader in the candy indus-
try, known for our quality products, attention to detail and
creative packaging. The factory tour includes a video presentation, a view of production (that all can see whether
you're small or tall) and the opportunity to shop in our store
filled with luscious, premium quality chocolates at refreshingly low prices. It's a perfect tour for kids from 5 to 105!

After enjoying a tour of the Chocolate
Factory in Buffalo Grove, take a short
drive to historic Long Grove Village (at
Rts. 83 & 53) and visit our original
store where we still hand-dip our famous
chocolate covered strawberries. Shop the
quaint and friendly stores of Long Grove
& relax over a leisurely meal at one of
the many fine restaurants in the village.
