Bolzano is a young, dynamic and invigorating town which merits a visit in any of the
seasons. Its exciting diversity, its fabulous location, and pulsating range of tourism
attractions make of it a truly fascinating destination: in Bolzano North meets South,
Italian flair mixes with German rigour and celebrates a coming together of cultures.
The fortune of nature has certainly blessed Bolzano for its location and certainly
enhanced by the diligence of its inhabitants – the avenues, streets and squares are
well taken care of and extremely presentable, the meeting of rivers provides an
elegant mosaic, vineyards stand proudly on the hillsides, more than 40 kilometres
of cycle paths grace the town and its outskirts, and three cablecars rapidly transport
townsfolk and visitors to the celubrious and inviting plateaus at above 800 metres.
Bolzano is also a linguistic hotbed with Italian, German, and Ladin spoken and this adding
to the cultural offer to be enjoyed. Speaking of culture mention is made of the wealth
of museums and galleries which find a welcoming home in the medieval town centre.
Hospitality is an art mastered by the local folk and the choice of hotel in the town

fällig und ist in der Rechnung gesondert ausgewiesen und ist in den hier veröffentlichten Preisen nicht enthalten.
Beginning on 1 January 2014, a local tax was introduced in South Tyrol. The local tax
will be levied at all lodging establishments, on a per-guest and per-overnight stay
basis. The amount is contingent upon the category of the establishment. Children and
adolescents under 14 years of age are exempt from levy. The local tax is payable upon
