ECLIPSE once again advanced the state of mobile entertainment
by allowing multiple entertainment sources to be enjoyed at the

entertainment systems still can’t offer!
All the revolutionary advances of the ECLIPSE 5.1 Channel Mobile
Entertainment System are of course present in the new AV Center
Control System. For instance, true 5.1 channel theater-quality sound
that can be experienced from any seat resulting from implementing
the Haas Effect psychoacoustic phenomenon into digital signal
processing with the 39011 Decoder.
ECLIPSE Color LCD Monitors with Wireless Remote are ideal for
installing in seatbacks and other positions. They will show movies in
their correct aspect ratios on bright, clear screens that satisfy the
most critical viewers.
ECLIPSE’s new AV Center Control System continues to evolve to take
advantage of new multimedia developments to maximize the full
potential of mobile entertainment.

Now any passenger can enjoy the entertainment
desired as the AV5101 controller provides two
independent circuits for audio and visual
program sources including DVD video and
dedicated game players. In addition, a third
circuit is included to handle portable audio
sources such as MP3 players or satellite radio
receivers.

Source 1 and 2 are used for a DVD player such as the ECLIPSE DV3101, a
VCR or camcorder and a dedicated game player while Source 3 is reserved for
portable music sources such as an MP3 player.
When the Rear Seats A or B source selections are not the same as the source
selected for the Front Monitor and Main Speaker System, the selected source
audio output for Rear Seats A and B is available at the headphone output of
each LCD Monitor. And even if the Navigation System is in use, program
sources such as CD/FM/AM can still be enjoyed on the Main Speaker System.

The ECLIPSE AV Center Control System creates
a whole new way to conveniently control all
mobile entertainment sources from a single
centralized command center, the AV5101.
Whether it’s DVD movie playback, video, games
or music, you can now conveniently control all
the input program sources — easily and with
minimal distraction.
Using the ECLIPSE Commander allows voice
command over navigation, audiocontrol,
cellular hands-free and other operations. For
the front seats you can select the helpful Voice
Navigation System that displays essential
navigational directions on the front-mounted
LCD monitor and enjoy your favorite CD or
FM station.
At the same time, you can keep your backseat
passengers entertained by having a DVD movie
play on one LCD monitor while the other LCD
monitor can be showing a favorite game or even
video. Now your car’s interior becomes a true
multiplex entertainment center that caters to
everyone in the car.

A key component in the AV Center Control
System, the DV3101 handles any disc
format for maximum entertainment and
information. The AV Center Control System’s
remote control allows operating the DV3101
from any position in the car.

sound levels and frequencies to best match the
selected entertainment.
The new CH3061 is another step forward
by ECLIPSE. CD changers provide E-COM
capability as well as unparalleled CD
playback performance. ECLIPSE’s E-LAN
Data Link System allows the CH3061 unit
and another CD changer such as the 5962,
CH5061 or 5083 to easily be daisy-chained
to give you access to over 12 favorite CDs.

internal changer mechanism and
impact-protection measures.
• 6-disc holding capability, with the first CD slot
always reserved for an E-COM navigation CD
while second to sixth slots are for music CDs.

compatible with E-COM use.

The Balanced Audio Delivery System
In professional audio the preferred method of
sending an audio signal from one component to
another is balanced audio delivery. Balanced line
outputs virtually eliminate the possibility of noise
in an audio system. “Noise” is defined as
electrostatic interference, usually radiated from
wires and cables or other components which can
filter into a sound system and degrade audio
quality. Compared to standard audio cable, which
carries noise along with the audio signal to the
amplifier, a balanced output uses two oppositely-
polarized wires to carry the audio signal. If noise is
introduced into the system, it will appear on both
audio signals. At the receiving end is a special
“Balanced Line Adapter.” This “Balanced Line
Adapter” effectively cancels out the noise and
sends only the audio signal to the amplifier.
