Installation Guide
Untight the screws for removing the
protective foil. Fasten the screws afterwards
until completely tightened.

The Vertical Silence is a hard
disc cooler designed especially for passive
cooling. It is the only one with vertical designed heatsinks, which allows an optimal air
convection without an active fan cooler.
The Mounting is very easy. All you need is
an empty 5.25“ bay in your chassis.
Der Vertical Silence ist ein Festplattenkühler, der speziell für eine passive
Kühlung der Festplatte ausgelegt ist.
Als Einziger seiner Art verfügt er über vertikal angeordnete Kühlrippen, um die natürliche Zirkulation der Luft zu unterstützen. Er
erreicht so eine höhere Kühlwirkung ohne
aktive Lüftung.
Die Montage ist sehr leicht. Der Vertical Silence passt in jeden freien 5.25“ Schacht.
Lockern Sie die Schrauben um die
Schutzfolie leichter abziehen zu können. Ziehen
Sie danach die Schrauben wieder fest an.
Open the top cover and
place the HDD inside the box.
Please ensure, that the copper
heat conductors are in good
contact with the HDD. Then close
the cover!
Öffnen Sie den Schiebedeckel und legen Sie die Festplatte in das Gehäuse. Achten Sie
dabei darauf, dass die Wärmeleitschienen aus Kupfer einen guten
Kontakt zur Festplatte haben.
Schieben Sie den Deckel zu!

Hint: With the help of the flyer it is
easier to close the top cover.
Tipp: Mit Hilfe des Flyers lässt sich
das Gehäuse leichter schließen.
