Willkommen in Düsseldorf!
Welcome to Düsseldorf!
Auch darf die lebendige Kunstszene nicht vergessen werden. In Düsseldorf vereinen sich Tradition und dynamische Entwicklung harmonisch.
Düsseldorf also has a vibrant art scene; it is a place where tradition and
dynamic development merge in harmony.
Die Bezirksgruppe West der GRUR freut sich, Sie in der Landeshauptstadt von Nordrhein-Westfalen zur GRUR Jahrestagung 2014 einladen
und begrüßen zu dürfen. Düsseldorf war zuletzt im Jahr 1993, also vor
21 Jahren, Gastgeber der GRUR Jahrestagung. Seitdem hat sich viel
verändert. Die Stadt ist als Medien- und Modestadt, Industrie-, Messeund Kongressstandort bekannt. Die Wissenschaft, präsentiert durch die
Heinrich-Heine-Universität und Fachhochschulen u. a. für Kunst, Mode,
Design, Business und Technik, hat hier eine lange Tradition.
Die GRUR Jahrestagung folgt dieser Dynamik. Veranstaltungsort für den Begrüßungsabend und alle wissenschaftlichen Veranstaltungen ist das Hotel Maritim am
Flughafen Düsseldorf. Der Weg vom Gate zum Vortragssaal ist nur wenige hundert Meter.
Im Rahmenprogramm greifen wir mit dem Rundgang
durch den Medienhafen die rasante Veränderung des
Stadtbildes auf. Das ursprünglich von Lagerhallen geprägte Hafenviertel beherbergt heute Unternehmen der
Medien- und Werbebranche, aber auch der Landtag ist
in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Rhein angesiedelt.
The GRUR Regional Group West would like to invite and welcome you
to the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia, to the 2014 GRUR Annual
Meeting. Düsseldorf hosted the GRUR Annual Meeting for the last time
21 years ago, in 1993. Much has changed since then. Düsseldorf is
known as a centre of media, fashion, industry, trade fairs and conferences.
It also has a long tradition in academia and science, manifested in the
Heinrich-Heine University and universities of applied science for the
arts, fashion, design, business and technology.
The GRUR Annual Meeting will follow this dynamic
impulse. The venue for the welcome evening and all
conference events is Hotel Maritim at Düsseldorf airport.
It is merely a short walk from the arrival gate to the
conference room.
Our framework programme offers a visit to the MedienHafen, charting the rapid development of the urban
landscape. The MedienHafen was originally dominated
by derelict warehouses and now houses enterprises
from the media and advertising industries, and the

The GRUR Annual Meeting in Düsseldorf will be rounded off on Saturday
by an excursion into the nearby Ruhr region. We will visit Zeche
Zollverein, a complex of buildings once part of a coal mining facility and
now part of the UNESCO cultural heritage, as well as Villa Hügel, the
representative residence of the Krupp family.
There are clearly many sound reasons to participate in the 2014 GRUR
Annual Meeting in Düsseldorf.

Looted art and restitution – Thoughts provoked by
recent events
Prof. Dr. Peter Raue studierte Rechtswissenschaft, Philosophie und
Theaterwissenschaften an der Freien Universität Berlin. Seit 1971
arbeitet er als Rechtsanwalt in Berlin. Professor Raue gilt als einer der
profiliertesten Kunst- und Urheberrechtler in Deutschland. Über drei
Jahrzehnte war er Vorsitzender des Vereins der Freunde der Nationalgalerie. Bereits 1989 holte er die Ausstellung „60 Meisterwerke aus
der Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation“ nach Berlin. Im Jahr 2002
gelang es ihm, den Direktor des Museums of Modern Art davon zu
überzeugen, an die 200 Gemälde aus der MoMA-Gemäldesammlung
während der Renovierung des New Yorker Stammhauses nach Berlin
als Ausstellung zu vergeben. Dies bescherte ihm eine enorme öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit, weshalb er seitdem anerkennend „Mr. MoMA“
genannt wird. Im Jahr 2007 wiederholte Prof. Raue diesen Coup in
ähnlicher Weise, als er eine Sammlung von 150 Gemälden französischer Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts aus dem Metropolitan Museum of
Art in die Neue Nationalgalerie nach Berlin brachte.
Prof. Dr Peter Raue read law, philosophy and theatre studies at the
Freie Universität, Berlin. He has worked as a lawyer in Berlin since
1971. Professor Raue is one of the best known German experts in
copyright law and the law relating to works of art. He was chairman of
the Association of Friends of the National Gallery in Berlin for over 30
years. In 1989 he enabled the presentation of the „60 Masterpieces
from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation” exhibition in Berlin. In
2002, he was instrumental in bringing about 200 paintings from the
Museum of Modern Art, New York, to Berlin where they were featured
in a now legendary exhibition. This drew enormous public attention to
Professor Raue, whose contribution was recognized in the nick-name
“Mr MoMA”. In 2007 he repeated this coup in a similar manner by
organizing the exhibition of 150 works of 19th century French art
originating from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, at the
Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.

Vom 28. Februar bis 2. März 2012 beschlagnahmte die Staatsanwaltschaft Augsburg bei Cornelius Gurlitt eine umfassende Kunstsammlung, die er von seinem Vater, dem Kunsthändler Hildebrand Gurlitt,
geerbt hatte. Nachdem der Fall Ende 2013 von einem Nachrichtenmagazin an die Öffentlichkeit gebracht wurde, löste dies eine breite
Diskussion um Raubkunst und Restitution aus. Die Causa Gurlitt hat
hierbei auch viele juristische Fragen aufgeworfen – und zurückgelassen. Der Festvortrag wird diese beleuchten.

Lawyer – Lover and Patron of the Arts, Berlin
Between 28 February and 2 March 2012 the Office of Public Prosecution
in Augsburg, Germany, confiscated an extensive collection of artworks
from Cornelius Gurlitt, which he had inherited from his father, the art
dealer Hildebrand Gurlitt. After the case was made public by a news
journal in late 2013, it triggered a broad discussion about looted art
and restitution. The Gurlitt case also gave rise to a large number of
legal questions, some of which have not yet been resolved. This
year’s special lecture will illustrate these issues.

visit to the MedienHafen (Media Harbour). Only 20 years ago the
landscape was dominated by derelict warehouses. The area is now in
a permanent process of change. The MedienHafen, housing numerous
enterprises from the media and advertising industries, is one of the
liveliest spots in Düsseldorf. A walkabout also reveals outstanding
examples of architecture. The curved and leaning buildings of
Frank O. Gehry are spectacular, the open form of the Regional
Parliament building is symbolic, and the Rheinturm literally towers
over everything.

river. Since being re-opened the museum has gained an international
reputation on the basis of high-profile art exhibitions featuring, for

Die Bühne ist in diffuses Licht getaucht. Unter einer Folie erahnt man

Autokonstruktionsmaschine eingesetzt, wird unter der Regie von
Aurélien Bory zum Bühnenstar. Auf beeindruckende Weise lässt
Bory das Gerät derart fantasievoll programmieren, dass es fast
menschliche Züge anzunehmen scheint. Poetische Momente entstehen, wenn die beiden Darsteller mit dem fast 6 m großen Monstrum
tanzen. Dennoch wird im Laufe des Abends bei aller Poesie und allem
Witz die Bedrohlichkeit einer solchen Maschine offensichtlich. Und in
der Schlussszene verschlägt es den Zuschauern dann auch fast den
Atem.
Die Arbeit des Ensembles „Compagnie 111“ lässt sich kaum einem
Genre zuordnen, denn sie bedient sich unterschiedlichster Disziplinen
wie Theater, Zirkus, Tanz, visuelle Bühnenkunst und Musik. Die „Compagnie 111“ ist regelmäßig zu Gast bei renommierten internationalen
Theatern und Festivals und hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren unter
anderem mit dem Werk „sans objet“ den Ruf als eine der bedeutendsten französischen Theaterkompagnien erworben.

Highly impressively, Bory causes the device to be programmed such
that it seems to exhibit almost human traits. Poetical moments arise
when the two performers dance with the monster measuring almost 6

Malkasten is the name of an artists’ association founded in 1848 and
is located in the centre of Düsseldorf, in a beautiful park that is a
protected historical monument. The philosopher Friedrich Heinrich

monuments – the Jacobi house and the Hentrich house. It is here that

Altstadt mit heinrich-heine-Geburtshaus
Von der Flingerstraße nimmt man nach dem Carsch-Haus die Hunsrückenstraße. An deren Ende empfängt den Besucher St. Andreas, eine
der schönsten Barockkirchen im Rheinland, die unbedingt einen kurzen
Besuch verdient. Von dort aus geht es in die Bolkerstraße: Hier befindet
sich das Geburtshaus Heinrich Heines, des berühmtesten Sohnes der
Stadt, der durch das Loreley-Lied Weltruhm erlangte. Gegenüber erhebt
sich die evangelische Neanderkirche, deren Bau der Kurfürst Jan
Wellem gestattete.
Um 11 Uhr, 13 Uhr, 15 Uhr, 18 Uhr, und 21 Uhr lohnt sich ein Abstecher
zum Glockenspiel in die Schneider-Wibbel-Gasse. Am Ende der Bolkerstraße geht es zum Marktplatz mit dem Düsseldorfer Rathaus. Hier
thront hoch zu Ross Kurfürst Jan Wellem. Sein Denkmal ist nicht nur
Düsseldorfs Wahrzeichen, sondern auch eines der wichtigsten barocken

Leaving the Flingerstraße, after the Carsch house one turns onto
Hunsrückenstraße. At the end of this street one of the most beautiful
baroque churches of the Rhine region awaits the visitor: St. Andreas
definitely deserves a brief visit. From there one turns onto Bolkerstraße:
It is here that the house where Heinrich Heine was born is located, one
of the most prominent citizens of Düsseldorf, whose Lorely song made
him famous throughout the world. On the opposite side the Protestant
Neander church can be seen, the construction of which was permitted
by the Electoral Prince Johann Wilhelm II (nickname: Jan Wellem).
It is worth making a slight detour to the carillon in the SchneiderWibbel-Gasse at 11.00, 13.00, 15.00, 18.00 or 21.00 hrs. At the end of
Bolkerstraße our route takes us to the Markplatz with the Rathaus (city
hall) of Düsseldorf. The Jan Wellem Equestrian Statue overlooking the
square is not only Düsseldorf’s landmark, it is also one of the most important equestrian statues of the baroque era north of the Alps.
Königsallee
Nach dem historischen Pferdeapfelwurf im Jahr 1848 auf König Friedrich
Wilhelm IV. wurde die Straße, die ursprünglich Kastanienallee hieß, im
Jahr 1851 als Wiedergutmachung in Königsallee umbenannt. Am Ende
des „Kö“-Grabens – in Höhe der Schadowstraße – befindet sich der
Tritonenbrunnen, das Wahrzeichen der „Kö“. Von hier aus hat man einen
herrlichen Blick über den gesamten „Kö“-Graben und auf das gegenüberliegende Kaufhof-Gebäude, das Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts zu den
ersten Warenhausgebäuden Deutschlands zählte.
Burgplatz/Rheinuferpromenade
Am Burgplatz – mit dem Radschlägerbrunnen unter den Platanen –
schlägt das Herz der Stadt Düsseldorf. Hier mündet die Namenspatronin der Metropole, das kleine Flüsschen Düssel, in den Rhein. Im Hintergrund erhebt sich die ehemalige Stiftskirche St. Lambertus mit dem
Schrein des Heiligen Apollinaris. Neben der Düsselbrücke veranschaulicht das Stadterhebungsmonument eindrucksvoll mehr als 700 Jahre
Stadtgeschichte (Verleihung der Stadtrechte 1288). Beherrscht wird der
Platz vom Alten Schlossturm (SchifffahrtMuseum), dem letzten Zeugen
des kurfürstlichen Schlosses aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, das 1872 einem
Brand zum Opfer gefallen war.
Die großzügig angelegte Rheinuferpromenade gilt als eine der schönsten am Rhein. Rheinaufwärts schweift der Blick zum MedienHafen mit
seinen herausragenden architektonischen Schöpfungen. Vis-à-vis grüßen
die Jugendstilfassaden des Nobelstadtteils Oberkassel. Vorbei an der
historischen Pegeluhr und dem wiederhergestellten alten Rheinhafen
führt der Weg über das eigens für die Rheinuferpromenade entworfene
wellenförmige Pflaster.
Die Kunstakademie Düsseldorf
Die Düsseldorfer Akademie wurde 1773 durch den Kurfürsten Carl
Theodor als Kurfürstlich Pfälzische Akademie der Maler-, Bildhauer- und
Baukunst gegründet. Im Jahr 1819 wurde sie in den Rheinprovinzen
Preußens Königliche Kunstakademie. Heute ist die Düsseldorfer Akade-

Following an historical incident in 1848 when a piece of horse dung was
thrown at King Friedrich Wilhelm IV., the boulevard originally named
Kastanienallee was renamed Königsallee in a gesture of reconciliation. The
landmark Triton Fountain is located near Schadowstraße, at the end of
the Königsallee. From here there is a beautiful view across the entire
moat of Königsallee to the Kaufhof department store on the opposite
side, which was one of the first department store buildings in Germany
in the early 20th century.
Burgplatz/Rhine Embankment Promenade
The Burgplatz with the Radschläger (Cartwheeler) Fountain under
sycamore trees is the heart of the city of Düsseldorf. This is where the
small river Düssel bearing the patron name of the city flows into the
Rhine. In the background lies the former collegiate church of St.
Lambertus with the shrine of St. Apollinaris. Next to the Düssel bridge,
the monument celebrating the grant of city privileges to Düsseldorf in
1288 manifests over 700 years of city history. The Burgplatz is dominated by
the Alter Schlossturm (now a shipping museum), the final remains of the
Electoral Prince’s castle dating from the 13th century, which burned
down in 1872. The broad Rhine embankment promenade is one of the
most beautiful esplanades on the Rhine river. The view upriver moves
towards the MedienHafen with its outstanding architectural creations.
On the opposite side of the river the elegant facades of noble Oberkassel can be seen. Proceeding past the historical device for measuring the
water level and the restored former Rhine port, our route leads us along
the wave-patterned paving stones especially designed for the Rhine
embankment promenade.
Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (State Academy of Art)
The Kunstakademie of Düsseldorf was founded in 1773 by the Electoral
Prince Carl Theodor as the Electoral Palatinate Academy of Art,
Sculpture and Architecture. In 1819 it became the Royal Art Academy of
Prussia in the Rhine provinces. Today, the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf is a

Alter Golzheimer Friedhof
Am 27. Januar 1804 beauftragte Kurfürst Maximilian Joseph den Hofbaumeister Caspar Anton Huschberger, einen Platz für die Anlage eines neuen Friedhofs zu suchen. In der Gemeinde Golzheim – etwa zwei Kilometer nördlich der damaligen Stadtgrenze – fand man ein geeignetes Gelände. 1816 erweiterte Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe den kleinen Friedhof und
gab ihm die heute bekannte Form. 1897 musste der Friedhof geschlossen
werden. Düsseldorfs Hauptbegräbnisstätte des 19. Jahrhunderts ist heute noch teilweise als Grünanlage erhalten. Städtebauliche Entwicklungen
haben die Fläche des Friedhofes reduziert. Nur noch ca. 350 Grabmäler,
die teilweise vom Verfall bedroht sind, erinnern an die Zehntausende, die
auf dem Golzheimer Friedhof bestattet wurden. Der Friedhof ist heute eine
poetische Oase der Stille und gehört zu den schönsten und bedeutendsten im Land. Seine Geschichte ist eng mit Düsseldorf verbunden, und
große Namen erinnern an seine Bürger, Maler und Dichter. Der Friedhof
ist ein einzigartiges Beispiel für die Grabsteinkultur im 19. Jahrhundert und
zeigt eindrucksvoll die verschiedenen Stilepochen von Barock, Klassizismus, Neugotik und Romantik in einem bemerkenswerten Gesamtkunstwerk.

Alter Golzheimer Friedhof (Cemetery)
On 27 January 1804, the Electoral Prince Maximilian Joseph commissioned
the court’s master builder Caspar Anton Huschberger to find a site for a
new cemetery. A suitable site was found about two kilometres north of
the town limits at the time, in the municipality of Golzheim. In 1816,
Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe enlarged the existing cemetery and gave it
its present form. The cemetery had to be closed in 1897. Parts of the
central burial ground of Düsseldorf during the 19th century have been
preserved as green space. Developments in the urban landscape led to
reductions in the area of the cemetery. A mere 350 graves, in some
cases in a poor state of repair, remind us of the tens of thousands who
were buried in the cemetery of Golzheim. Nowadays the cemetery is a
poetical oasis of quiet as well as being one of the most beautiful and
important burial grounds in Germany. Its history is closely linked with that
of Düsseldorf, great names remind us of its citizens, artists and poets.
The cemetery is a unique example of the gravestone culture in the 19th
century and illustrates the various eras of baroque, classicism, neogothic and romanticism within a single, remarkable work of art.
Graves of famous people include that of the landscape architect and
creator of the cemetery Maximilian Weyhe, the artist Alfred Rethel, the
architect Wilhelm von Schadow and the theatre director Karl Leberecht
Immermann.
Carlstadt
Die Carlstadt ist das exquisite Galerien- und Antiquitätenviertel der
Stadt. Vorbei am Filmmuseum und am Hetjens-Museum/Deutsches
Keramikmuseum gelangt man zu einem architektonischen Kleinod der
Stadt: In der Citadellstraße mit ihrem eleganten Palais aus dem 18. und
19. Jahrhundert und dem fast unveränderten Straßenbild jener Tage
scheint die Zeit stehengeblieben zu sein.

Orangeriestraße führen über die Benrather Straße zum Carlsplatz, der

Carlstadt
Carlstadt is the exquisite quarter of Düsseldorf containing galleries and
antique shops. Passing the film museum and the ceramics collection
housed in the Hetjens-Museum, one arrives at an architectural jewel:
time appears to stand still in Citadellstraße with its elegant palaces
dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, where the urban landscape has
remained largely untouched since that era.
The municipal museum (Stadtmuseum) on the corner of Bäcker-/Bergerstraße provides additional information on the history of Düsseldorf. The
romantic Bäckerstraße and Orangeriestraße as well as Benrather
Straße take us back to Carlsplatz with its bustling market from Monday
to Saturday. Bilker Straße offers the opportunity to visit the Heinrich
Heine Institute. Passing by the former residence of the composers
Robert und Clara Schumann, it leads to Bastionstraße, a mandatory
stop for all lovers of antiques.
EKŌ-haus für Japanische Kultur
Mit mehr als 7.000 Japanern gilt Düsseldorf als drittgrößte japanische

Start with the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and its famous ”Beuys Stove
Pipe“. The four muses, the four roof figures on the old art museum, point
the way to the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen K20 Grabbeplatz,
one of the leading museums for 20th century art. From there, proceed to
Ratinger Straße, a favourite meeting place for artists and students.
Just a few steps further will take you to the monumental building of the
Kunstakademie (Academy of Art), one of the leading universities of
fine art in Europe – and once the place of work for Paul Klee, Joseph
Beuys and Jörg Immendorff. It is directly adjacent to the Ehrenhof
cultural complex, which is dominated by the impressive dome of the
Tonhalle, home to Düsseldorf’s symphony orchestra.
The park designed by Wilhelm Kreis leads the way towards the
NRW-Forum Düsseldorf and the Museum Kunstpalast, famous for its
influential collection of Old Masters, works of the classical modern era
and contemporary art. The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen K21
Ständehaus am Kaiserteich (formerly the seat of the parliament of North
Rhine-Westphalia) exhibits outstanding works of contemporary art of the
21st century on its impressive premises.
Schloss und Park Benrath
Mit dem Regionalexpress erreicht man in 6 Minuten vom Düsseldorfer
Hauptbahnhof den kleinen Bahnhof Benrath im Süden der Stadt.
Wenige Schritte sind es von hier aus zum Schloss und Park Benrath.
Schloss Benrath wurde einst als Lust- und Jagdschloss für den Kurfürsten Carl Theodor erbaut. Das Ensemble gilt heute in seiner künstlerischen Einheit aus Bauwerken, Inneneinrichtungen und den 60 Hektar
großen Gärten als eines der in Europa selten gewordenen Gesamtkunstwerke des ausgehenden Rokoko. Das Hauptschloss (Corps de
Logis) vermittelt mit Möbeln, Porzellan, Gemälden etc. einen Eindruck
vom höfischen Leben der 2. Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts. Im Ostflügel
befindet sich das „Museum für Europäische Gartenkunst“, im Westflügel
das „Museum für Naturkunde“.
Schloss and Park Benrath
It only takes 6 minutes to reach the small station of Benrath in the south
of the city, having left Düsseldorf central station on a regional express
train. Close to the station are the Schloss and Park Benrath, once
constructed as a maison de plaisance and hunting mansion for the
Electoral Prince Carl Theodor.
The palace buildings, interiors and the garden measuring 60 hectars
form an ensemble constituting a rare synthesis of the arts of the late
baroque period in Europe. The principal palace (Corps de Logis)
provides an impression of court life during the second half of the
18th century with its furniture, porcelain and paintings. The Museum for
European Gartenkunst (Museum for Landscape Art) is located in the
east wing and the Museum für Naturkunde (Natural Science
Museum) in the west wing.
Ratinger Tor
Das heutige Ratinger Tor ist das dritte Stadttor dieses Namens in Düsseldorf. Das erste, schon 1397 erwähnte Tor war wohl ein viereckiger
Torturm mit einem zweigeschossigen Aufbau über dem gotischen Torbogen an der Ratinger Straße. Im Jahr 1684 wurde von Johann Wilhelm
neben dem alten Torturm ein neues Ratinger Tor erbaut, während auf
dem alten Turm eine Windmühle errichtet wurde. Die in reinem dorischen Stil erbauten Torpavillons des Ratinger Tores dienten als Vorbild
bei Schinkels Neuer Wache in Berlin und bei Klenzes Propyläen in
München.

Düsseldorf. The first gate mentioned as early as 1397 was apparently
a four-cornered tower with a structure of two floors above the gothic
arched gate on Ratinger Straße. In 1684 Johann Wilhelm commissioned the
construction of a new Ratinger Gate next to the old gate tower and
erected a windmill on top of the old tower. The pavilions of the
Ratinger Gate with their Dorian columns were the example on which
Schinkel based his Neue Wache in Berlin and for Klenze’s Propyläen in
Munich.

7. Teilnahmebescheinigung: Die im Hauptprogramm genannten
Veranstaltungen sind für die Pflichtfortbildung nach § 15 FAO geeignet. Sofern Sie sich in den zu den einzelnen Veranstaltungen
ausliegenden Anwesenheitslisten eingetragen haben, erhalten
Sie nach Beendigung der Tagung Ihre Teilnahmebescheinigung
automatisch per Post. Maximal können zehn Std. Fortbildung bescheinigt werden.
7. Certificate of participation: The events mentioned in the main
programme are eligible for continued professional development in
accordance with § 15 FAO. Once you have signed the attendance
lists available at the particular events, you will receive your
certificate by mail after the end of the conference. Certificates will
be issued for a maximum of ten hours of continued professional

7. Liability
The GRUR, the GRUR Regional Group West, the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie GmbH - jurEvent and the organising law firms act solely
as agents at all times and are not liable for loss, accidents or damage to
persons or objects, regardless of the cause. The participant takes part in
all excursions, tours etc. at his/her own risk. Verbal agreements require
written confirmation. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany.
6. Stornierung der Anmeldung
Registrierte Teilnehmer, die an der Jahrestagung nicht teilnehmen können, erhalten die Teilnehmergebühren wie folgt zurückerstattet:
Bei Eingang der Absage bis 31. Juli 2014: volle Teilnehmergebühr abzüglich € 30,00 Bearbeitungsgebühr.
Bei Eingang der Absage zwischen dem 1. August 2014 und dem 25.
August 2014: 50% der Teilnehmergebühr.
Bei Eingang der Absage nach dem 25. August 2014: keine Rückerstattung.

6. Cancellation of registration
Registered participants who are unable to participate in the conference
will receive the registration fees reimbursed as follows:
Receipt of cancellation by 31 July 2014: complete registration fee,
minus € 30.00 administrative fee.
Receipt of cancellation between 1 August 2014 and 25 August 2014:
50% of the registration fee.
Receipt of cancellation after 25 August 2014: no reimbursement.

GRUR Golf tournament 2014
Prior to the beginning of the Annual Meeting 2014 in Düsseldorf
the 31st GRUR Golf Tournament will be held at the course of the
Krefelder Golf Club,
on Wednesday, 24 September 2014
starting at 10.00.
The participants of the Annual Meeting and accompanying guests are
warmly welcome to attend.
The (non-handicap) tournament will be played according to the
Stableford scoring system. Prerequisite for participation is a handicap
of at least -45. Please state your handicap on registration.
There will be a prize for the best gross score and—depending on the
number of participants—prizes for the best net scores, p.r.n. in two
handicap classes. No participant may win more than one prize.
The entry fee is € 40.00 per participant and is payable on registration.
The fee is forfeited in the event of non-appearance.
The green fees of € 60.00 for tournament participants are payable to
the club secretary prior to the beginning of the tournament.
Interested parties are requested to use the form below to register with

The golf course is located about 30 minutes by car from the city centre.

Mit dem Auto fahren Sie über die Autobahn A44 bis zur Ausfahrt
„Düsseldorf Flughafen“. Folgen Sie dem Straßenverlauf in Richtung
„Ankunft“ und dort der Beschilderung Richtung „Airport City“. Sie gelangen dann direkt zum Hotel Maritim.

Leave the motorway A44 at the exit ”Dusseldorf Flughafen“. Follow
signs ”Arrivals“ and then ”Airport City“. Hotel Maritim Düsseldorf is now
directly in front of you.
Das Hotel Maritim Düsseldorf befindet sich vis-à-vis zum Flughafen
Düsseldorf und ist über eine überdachte Fußgängerbrücke direkt mit
dem Terminal C verbunden.
Anreise mit dem Taxi (ab Hauptbahnhof)
Eine einfache Fahrt mit dem Taxi kostet ca. € 30,00.
Anreise mit der Bahn (ab Hauptbahnhof)
Nehmen Sie die S11 bis Haltestelle „Flughafen/Terminal“ oder den Bus,
Linie 721 (Abfahrt direkt vor dem Hauptbahnhof). Die Bahn hält
direkt am Fernbahnhof Düsseldorf. Steigen Sie dort um in den Sky
Train. Der Weg ist gut ausgeschildert. Der Sky Train bringt Sie direkt
zum Terminal C. Fahren Sie bitte mit dem Sky Train bis zum Ende des
Terminal C. Von dort aus gelangen Sie über die überdachte Fußgängerbrücke (ca. 70 m) zum Hotel Maritim.

Sie gehen zum Terminal C (Abflugebene) und dort bis zum Ende. Von
da aus gelangen Sie über die überdachte Fußgängerbrücke (ca. 70 m)
