CHECKLIST FOR EAST AFRICA VISA APPLICATION
IMPORTANT: This document has to be submitted along with your application, to confirm that
you have read and provided all of the necessary documents. This is a mandatory requirement.
Failure to adhere to these requirements will lead to your application being rejected. Do not
staple the documents.
Note: Processing time: approximately 5 working days for personally delivered application and 2
weeks for postal applications. The visa is only valid for Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.
 The application MUST contain ALL of the following:
Duly filled Application form N0 22
Original Passport with validity of not less than 6months
One passport size photo
Self-addressed, padded (or air-cushioned) envelope bearing Euro 3.60 worth of stamps,
for return of passport
Fee: Euros 80.00 payable only by bank transfer or EC-Debit card at the Embassy. Cash
payments will not be accepted. (Account for payment: IBAN DE19100400000268045200)
I hereby confirm that I have complied with all of the above stated requirements and I am fully
aware that my application will be rejected for failure to comply with the above requirements.

CHECKLISTE FÜR DIE BEANTRAGUNG EINES EAST AFRICA VISUMS ZUR
EINFACHEN EINREISE
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Dieses Dokument MUSS gemeinsam mit Ihren Unterlagen eingereicht
werden. Es bestätigt, dass Sie die Checkliste gelesen haben und Sie bestätigen mit Ihrer
Unterschrift, dass Sie alle erforderlichen Unterlagen eingereicht haben. Dies ist zwingend
erforderlich. Ihr Antrag wird abgelehnt, sollte dieser unvollständig sein. Bitte tackern Sie die
Unterlagen nicht zusammen.
Anmerkung: Bearbeitungszeit: ungefähr fünf Werktage bei persönlich abgegebenen Anträgen
und zwei Wochen bei per Post eingesandten Anträgen. Das Visum ist nur gültig für Kenia,
Uganda und Ruanda.
 Der Antrag MUSS Folgendes enthalten:
Sorgfältig ausgefülltes Antragsformular Nr. 22
Reisepass im Original mit noch mindestens sechsmonatiger Gültigkeit
Ein Passfoto (in der rechten oberen Ecke des Antragsformulars anzubringen)
Ein gepolsterter, mit 3,60 Euro freigemachter Rückumschlag für die Rücksendung des
Reisepasses
Gebühr: 80,00 Euro zahlbar nur per Banküberweisung (an Embassy of the Republic of
Kenya, IBAN: DE19100400000268045200 - bitte fügen Sie Ihrem Antrag eine Kopie des
Überweisungsbelegs bei) oder EC-Karte in der Botschaft. Barzahlungen werden nicht
akzeptiert.
Hiermit bestätige ich, dass ich alle oben aufgeführten Anforderungen erfülle, und dass ich mir
bewusst bin, dass mein Antrag abgelehnt wird, wenn diese Anforderungen nicht erfüllt sind.
