The Psychology of Realistic Seller Expectations in the Real Estate
Auction Market
Wishful thinking, the fear of being taken advantage of and reluctance to
“leave money on the table” are a few of the obstacles to a successful
outcome when we let Seller’s false optimism take control. This
informative seminar focuses the psychology of setting up our Seller’s for
a successful and realistic outcome. Seller’s motivation level can affect
how they see the facts, how they interpret your analysis, and how they
respond to buyers’ reactions. You will discover the attributes of a
motivated seller and learn ways help them decide upon a realistic “Sold” price.
Kick Yourself in the Backside!
It’s a really great motivational tool. It’s sort of like the carrot and the stick, only more effective. Ever had a bad day?
Ever lose an auction you thought you had? Ever had someone say yes to you and three days later just evaporate? How
do you react to these situations? Be prepared to be motivated to overcome the symptoms that keep you from achieving
your goals and winning those contracts. We will cover many of the winning secrets that I have employed to becoming
the 2015 International Auctioneer Champion – Women’s Division and applied these same secrets to becoming not only a
great bid caller but a great business person.
