L AU R E L H IL L H E IR LO O M B E A N S O U P — D E M O R E C IP E
Ingredients
1 bag Laurel Hill Heirloom Beans (57912)
1 tablespoon Laurel Hill Italian Olive Oil (46750)
½ cup diced onion
½ cup diced, peeled carrots
½ cup diced celery
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 teaspoons Morton & Bassett Dried Oregano (81981)
2 teaspoons Morton & Basett Herbs De Provence (81955)
1 can San Marzano Diced Tomatoes (64682)
1 ½ ounces More Than Gourmet Veggie-Stock Gold (51167) dissolved in 4 cups hot water
2 teaspoons La Baliene Salt (50004), plus additional as needed
1 teaspoon Montosco Black Pepper (49400)
Preparations
Rinse and drain the beans and follow preparation instructions listed on the back of the bag. Heat the oil in a stockpot on medium-high, add the onion, carrots, and celery, and cook, stirring, about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft, but not browned.
Add garlic, herbs and cook, stirring, about 1-2 minutes more. Stir in the tomatoes and their juices, the dissolved Veggie-Stock
Gold, and the beans. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium low and add the salt and pepper. Simmer the
soup for 1 hour or until beans are tender. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Magazine and more. Laurel Hill Kettle Cooked Potato Chips were launched in
partnership with Whole Foods last January and its Sea Salt Kettle Chips were
recognized by KitchenDaily.com as one of the Top 3 Best Tasting Original Flavored Kettle Cooked Chip.
Founded in 1965, Chex Finer Foods celebrated its 45th year in business this past

Coming soon to an internet near you @ www.Chexfoods.com. The Chex Finer Foods website is about to be
refreshed with a stylish new look and more features. “We hope that our customers find our new site to be more interactive and informative,” says Marketing Programs Manager Josh Goldmeier. The company also will be launching a new
Facebook and Youtube page to provide product education, merchandising ideas, and a place to share successes with
each other. All of these will be ready for launch by early November. We can’t wait for you to check it out!

...this move will enable us to continue to be a Specialty and Natural Foods Distribution leader in the Northeast region
for years to come.” The new warehouse gives Chex 35,000 square feet of additional space along with 8 more loading
docks which will allow Chex to be even more efficient. With the extra space, the company will have the ability to
bring in more new products, and buy in on more trailer and container deals to provide even bigger promotions to our
customers. In December, Chex will be adding a 48 foot tractor trailer to its fleet which will not only increase efficiency, but also enable the company to increase delivery capacity.
The move to Mansfield also puts Chex closer to all major highways (95, 495, 195, and 90). While this move is a bittersweet one, leaving a warehouse that was home for over 20 years,
Chex is excited for this opportunity and looks forward to showing off
the new area to all of our customers and vendors. Until we officially
move, please continue to send any mailings to our current address of 39
Franklin R McKay Rd. Attleboro, MA 02703.

Global Seasonings Spices Market - Segments, Dynamics, Size, Forecast to 2019 Increasing income levels resulting in increasing expenditure on food products, changing food habits of Asian consumers and changing demographics are the major growth drivers for the global seasonings and spices market. Asian countries such as India are the major producers of seasonings and spices. Uncertain economic conditions coupled with inefficient logistics act as major growth restraints for seasoning and spice producing countries, such as India. Government policies resulting in rejection of imported spices also hampers the growth in international markets. Increasing demand from the organic segment offers great opportunity for the market.
