Diese prächtige F4U-1D Corsair ist ihrem Vorbild in Farbgebung und Beschriftung
detailgetreu nachempfunden. Optimal vorbereitet für den Einbau eines ZP 62cc, ist
unter der großen GFK-Haube genug Platz für unterschiedlichste Motoren. Die dreigeteilte Tragfläche ist für die Installation eines Scale-Einziehfahrwerkes bis hin zu inneren
Fahrwerkstüren und einziehbarem Spornrad vorbereitet. Da das Mittelteil des Flügels
inklusive Fahrwerk am Rumpf befestigt bleibt, ist die Montage auf dem Flugfeld sowie
Lagerung und Transport wesentlich erleichtert. Das klassische blaue Corsair Farbschema mit Navy-Grafiken und Schriftzügen machen dieses Modell zu einem echten Abbild
seiner Zeit. Wo immer es am Himmel auftaucht, zieht es bewundernde Blicke auf sich
und macht dank der vielen Scale-Details auch am Boden eine tolle Figur.
This superb Corsair is finished in the colors and markings of a US Navy F4U-1D Corsair, serving with 152 Squadron. It has been designed for ZP 62cc engine and the large
fibreglass cowl will accommodate many different sizes of engine. The three-piece wing
are ready to accept optional twist and turn retractable landing gear, including optional retractable tail wheel. The center section of the wing can be left connected to the fuselage
for ease of assembly at the flying field. This also makes the model very easy to transport
and or being stored at home. With its “Corsair” blue UltraCote color scheme complete
with authentic US Navy graphics and nomenclature the model is certain to draw admiring
looks wherever flown and is even on the ground an impressive and truly handsome model.
