ISOCAP Oberflächenfolien eröffnen vielfältige
Möglichkeiten der dekorativen Oberflächengestaltung im Schi- und Snowboardbau. Der Name
deutet bereits darauf hin, dass diese speziell für
die Fertigung von Schalenschi geeignet sind, jedoch werden die hervorragenden mechanischen
und thermischen Eigenschaften der Folien ebenso
in der klassischen Sandwichtechnologie geschätzt.
Anwendungstechnisch bieten ISOCAP-Oberflächenfolien hervorragende Verschleißschutzeigenschaften kombiniert mit einem brillanten Erscheinungsbild.
ISOCAP top sheets provide a large variety of possibilities for ornamental surface design in ski and
snowboard construction. As the name suggests,
these are particularly well-suited for manufacturing ski shells. However, the films' outstanding
mechanical and thermal properties of the sheets
are also valued in the classic sandwich technology. In terms of their application, ISOCAP top
sheets offer outstanding wear protection properties combined with a brilliant appearance.
Für die optimale Gestaltung der Oberfläche werden sowohl transparente als auch deckende Folien in vielfältiger Oberflächenausführung (zum
Beispiel glatt, mattiert, geprägt) angeboten, wobei zum Schutz der Schalenoberfläche gegen Beschädigung und Verschmutzung bei der Weiterverarbeitung die Kaschierung mit einer Auswahl
an Schutzfolien möglich ist.
For optimal surface design, both transparent and
opaque films are offered in a broad range of surface designs (such as gloss, matt, embossed),
while lamination with a selection of protective
films is available to protect the shell surface

Transparente Oberflächenfolien von ISOSPORT wurden speziell für den Einsatz im Ski- und
Snowboardbau entwickelt. ISOPORT stellt dabei selbstverständlich sicher, dass diese Produkte
hinsichtlich der Grundeigenschaften wie Kälteschlagzähigkeit und Verklebbarkeit (zum Beispiel
mit Epoxysystemen) entsprechen.
Sie zeichnen sich weiters durch hervorragende geometrische Eigenschaften (Verzug, Planlage,...)
aus, welche eine perfekte Verarbeitbarkeit beim Skibau gewährleisten. Aufgrund der speziellen
Vorbehandlung können diese Oberflächenfolien auch im Thermotransferdruck und/oder mittels
Siebdruck dekoriert werden. Ausgewählte Produkte sind auch für den Direktdigitaldruck
geeignet.
Neben den Ausführungen mit glatter oder mattierter Oberfläche werden die Folien auch mit Prägedesigns (Standard- oder Exklusivdesigns) für neue, zusätzliche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten angeboten.
Transparent top sheets from ISOSPORT have been developed especially for use in ski
and snowboard construction. ISOSPORT naturally ensures that these products comply
with customer requirements in terms of their basic properties, such as low temperature
impact strength and bonding (for example with epoxy systems).
They are additionally characterised by outstanding geometric properties (distortion, flatness,...) that guarantee perfect processing conditions during ski construction.
Thanks to the special surface preparation, artwork can also be applied to these top sheets
with thermal transfer and/or silk screen printing methods. Selected products are also
suitable for direct digital printing.
Some films are available not only with gloss or matt finishes, but also with embossed
designs (standard and exclusive designs), offering additional new creative options.

Die universelle Top-Oberfläche – nahezu für jeden Einsatz geeignet!
Temperaturstabile PA11/PA12 Zweischichtfolie mit sehr gutem Verschleißverhalten durch
hohe Härte und unübertroffene Kratzfestigkeit. Weitere Vorzüge sind Formstabilität und hoher
Oberflächenglanz gepaart mit einer überragenden UV Stabilität. Die Dekorgestaltung ist mit
Thermotransferdruck und mit Standard-Siebdruckfarben, auch auf wässriger Basis, möglich.
Je nach Bedarf wird ICP 8210 in verschiedenen Versionen und Folienstärken bis zu 0,6 mm
ausgeführt: In der Variante „Ultra Light “(UL) wird eine mattierte Rückseite kombiniert mit
einer Folienstärke von 0,15 - 0,8 mm als Rollenware angeboten. Diese Ausführung ist die meist
verwendete Polyamidfolie im Ski-, Snowboard- und Wassersportbereich. In der Variante „DD“
weist die Folie ICP 8210 neben einer speziell optimierten Oberflächenstruktur eine extra für den
digitalen Direktdruck angepasste Lieferspezifikation auf.
The universal top surface – ready for practically any application! Temperature-stable
PA11/PA 12 two-layer film with very good wear properties thanks to high hardness
and unsurpassed scratch resistance. Additional advantages are form stability and high
surface gloss, paired with outstanding UV stability. Artwork can be applied with thermal
transfer and standard silk screen printing methods, with the option of using waterbased materials. If necessary, the ICP 8210 can be built in various versions and with
film thicknesses up to 0.6 mm: in the "Ultra Light" (UL) version, a matt back is
with a film thickness of 0.15 - 0.8 mm and is available in rolls. This model is the most
commonly used polyamide film in the ski, snowboard and water sports industry.
In addition to a specially optimised surface structure, the "DD" version of the ICP 8210

2115 ist eine Weiterenwicklung der 2112 mit verbesserter Transparenz, Härte und verbesserter
Haftung. Empfohlene Dekoration mit Lösungsmittelfarben und 2-Komponenten Epoxy-Farben.
Die Variante „DD“ von ICP 2115 ist eine Ausführung mit besonderen geometrischen und opt.

Opaque top sheets
Opaque top sheets from ISOSPORT have been developed specially for use in ski and snowboard
construction and for water sports (e.g., kite- and wakeboards). They are distinguished by their
good geometrical characteristics, which guarantee the perfect processability for the customer.
ISOSPORT naturally ensures that these products comply with customer requirements in terms
of their basic properties, such as low temperature impact strength and bonding ability (for
example with epoxy systems).
Thanks to a special pretreatment of the top side (version 2GV), artwork can be applied to
these top sheets with silk screen printing. Selected products are also suitable for direct digital
or thermal diffusion printing. It is also possible to apply a lacquer to protect the surface design.

Deckende Oberflächenfolien von ISOSPORT wurden speziell für den Einsatz im Ski-, Snowboardbau und für den Einsatz im Wassersport (z.B.: Kite- und Wakeboards) entwickelt. Sie zeichnen
sich durch gute geometrische Eigenschaften aus, welche eine perfekte Verarbeitbarkeit beim
Kunden gewährleisten. ISOSPORT stellt dabei selbstverständlich sicher, dass diese Produkte hinsichtlich der Grund- eigenschaften wie Kälteschlagzähigkeit und Verklebbarkeit (zum Beispiel
mit Epoxysystemen) entsprechen.
Aufgrund der speziellen Vorbehandlung der Oberseite (Variante 2GV) können diese Oberflächenfolien mit Siebdruck dekoriert werden. Ausgewählte Produkte sind auch für den Direktdigitaloder Thermodiffusionsdruck geeignet. Dabei ist auch eine anschließende Lackierung zum Schutz
des Oberflächendesigns möglich.
Polyester Oberflächen (PBT)
Diese Oberflächen können im Thermotransferdruck und/oder mittels spezieller Oberflächenvorbereitung auch im Siebdruck dekoriert werden. Einige Typen (z.B. ICP 4160) werden auch
mit einer Polyestervlieskaschierung angeboten, die einerseits einer leichteren Verklebbarkeit
dient und andererseits geometrisch stabilisierend beim Bedrucken durch Thermotransferdruck
wirkt.
Hier kommen 3 Standardtypen zum Einsatz:
VL: 40 g/m², strukturiert
VL2: 30 g/m², nicht strukturiert
VL3: 10 g/m², nicht strukturiert

These surfaces can be printed with either thermal transfer printing and/or silk
screen printing after the surface has been specially prepared. A few types
(e.g. ICP 4160) are also offered with a polyester fleece lamination that facilitates
easier bonding and provides geometric stabilisation when printing with the
thermal transfermethod.
Three standard types are used here:
VL: 40 g/m², structured
VL2: 30 g/m², not structured
VL3: 10 g/m², not structured

Protective tapes
Transparente Oberflächenschutzfolien von ISOSPORT wurden speziell für den Einsatz im Schiund Snowboardbau entwickelt. Sie schützen ISOCAP Oberflächenfolien vor Verschmutzungen
(Kleber; Lacke; Schäume) und mechanischen Beanspruchungen (Kratzer) während der Verarbeitung und lassen sich nach der Endfertigung wieder rückstandsfrei abziehen.
Da die Verarbeitungsbedingungen bei unseren Kunden stark variieren, können die Angaben dieser Schutzfolienaufstellung nur den Charakter allgemeiner Empfehlungen haben. Die Eignung
für den gewünschten Zweck muss durch eigene Tests unter Originalbedingungen sichergestellt
werden.
Insbesondere zu berücksichtigen sind dabei Material und Oberflächenstruktur, mechanische und
thermische Belastung, sowie Anwendungsdauer des zu schützenden Materials..
Transparent surface protection films from ISOSPORT have been developed especially for use in
ski and snowboard construction. They protect ISOCAP top sheets against staining (adhesives,
paints, foams) and mechanical stresses (scratches) during manufacture, allowing easy removal
after completion, without residue.
As our clients’ production requirements vary broadly, information about the application of these
protective films is very general in character. In order to establish whether our materials are suitable for your purposes, we recommend that you conduct your own tests under your own specific
conditions.
In particular, please consider the material and surface structure, the mechanical and thermal
stress, and the duration for which the materials should be protected.
