In a peaceful and idyllic setting Kingslake has 7 fishing lakes and accommodation in lovely 3 star self catering
cottages and lakeside lodges sleeping from two to eight people. Kingslake is in the heart of Devon’s unspoilt
countryside, the newly designated ‘Ruby Country’ within an hour’s drive of many of Devon and Cornwall’s places of
interest and beaches. Explore the local market towns of Holsworthy and Hatherleigh; visit the historic town of
Okehampton and walk or ride on Dartmoor; relax on the beaches at Bude; visit the Eden project and the gardens at
Rosemoor; join up with the Tarka or Ruby trails or cycle to Cookworthy forest and explore the many footpaths,
bridleways and cycle trails. The stone built cottages are set around sheltered water gardens, an oasis of palm trees
and exotic shrubs, and enjoy a tranquil rural atmosphere. Mown paths meander in front of the timber lodges and
round the lakes, through 124 acres of meadows and woodlands where over 40 species of birds have been spotted.
Enjoy the abundance of wildlife and well stocked coarse fishing lakes in a peaceful, idyllic setting. A safe
environment for children with plenty of space to explore; they can try the nine hole golf, feed the rabbits and
ponies, make sandcastles, play on the swings and climbing frame while the adults relax on the patio and tend the

From Exeter at the end of the M5 take the A30 to Okehampton. In the centre of Okehampton at the lights turn right
on to the A386 to Hatherleigh; at Hatherleigh (7 mls) turn left on to the A3072 Holsworthy / Bude road. Travel for 7
mls then turn left at sign 'Chilla 2 mls' Kingslake is 3/4 of a mile along this road on the left (also signposted on the
main road)
