Wegbeschreibung
Travel south along the M5, take the North Devon Link Road at junction 27 onto the A361, bypass the town of
Barnstaple on to the A39 towards Bideford and Bude. Cross the bridge at Bideford, bypassing the town and
continue towards Bude. Pass through Fairy Cross, Horns Cross, Bucks Cross and Clovelly Cross. Just after Horns
Cross on the right is ‘The Hoops’ pub and restaurant, well worth a visit. Continue for a further 8 miles when you will
come to the brow of a hill on Bursdon Moor, turn left signposted Hartland Forest Golf Club. Follow this road for just
over one and a half miles, continuing straight where the road bends sharp right for about 300 yards until you reach
the entrance on your right. Follow the drive as it bends left to the car park on your right. ‘Forest View’ is about
central to this car park.
Travel time from junction 27 of the M5 usually takes between 1 ¼ to 1 ½ hours but you may encounter slow
moving farm vehicles. From Barnstaple there is a sprinter train connecting to the Intercity rail service at Exeter,
alternatively Tiverton Parkway, (Paddington to Penzance main line), is approximately a 1 ½ hours away. Exeter
Airport is closest with Bristol Airport further north on the M5.
